COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Chicagoans like hoppy beers, so we obliged by brewing a mean Double IPA. Then we asked artist Joey Potts to design a label of equal intensity. Generously hopped with Falconers Flight, Zythos, and Cascade, Sinister is brimming with juicy, tropical flavors of mango and pineapple. Don’t expect back rubs and mixtabs from this beer-- Sinister won’t even remember your first name.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were very long lasting and left behind a softly carbonated transparent orange brown colored body and a thick foamy lacing. The mild aroma was hoppy. The sharp vinous crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a strong hoppy aftertaste. The nice flavor contained notes of bitter Cascade hops mild caramel mildly vinous and hops. Delicious and one I would certainly like to have again.

22oz bottle w/a typically cool/sinister label: Hops were submissive & dry relative to the massive malt wallop. IBUs still seemed high though.

Bottle 65,5 cl. Pours a hazy amber with an off-white head. Very intense citrusy malts blending in well with some biscuity malts. Surprisingly the body is only mediumish, slight caramel and biscuit notes but everything overpowered by an arsenal of fresh and crispy hops - kinda herbal. The bitterness really builds up on your palate. 120815

Draft. Caramel malt and orange hops aroma. Hazy amber with a moderate off-white head. Flavor is same as the nose - caramel malt and orange hops. Medium body, soft carbonation.

On tap: The aroma consists of candied citrus, grapefruit, and a touch of alcohol. It’s hazy dull orange with a small white head that fades to a thin film outlined by a slightly thicker ring. The flavor starts with moderate citrus and light candied orange. The finish has grapefruit, orange peel, and a touch of alcohol. It’s medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall, it’s good but just a tad too much sweetness for my preferences.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange with small off white head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is tropical fruit and spruce. Medium mouth with nice juicy hop, light bitterness, very nice.

Tap at brewfest. Orange pour with white head. Smells of slight malt and a ton of hops. Good fruity hop flavor with bitter finish. Very good ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft: Orange/amber with a small, off-white head. Caramel, syrupy fruit aroma. Orange malt, pine and peel bitterness. Sweet, then an easy, bitter finish. Very nicely done.... Smooth transition from sweet to bitter.
