COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Chicagoans like hoppy beers, so we obliged by brewing a mean Double IPA. Then we asked artist Joey Potts to design a label of equal intensity. Generously hopped with Falconers Flight, Zythos, and Cascade, Sinister is brimming with juicy, tropical flavors of mango and pineapple. Don’t expect back rubs and mixtabs from this beer-- Sinister won’t even remember your first name.

What do you expect?

Rated on 9-02-2015 (Bottle) This beer’s appearance is a very small beige head with a long retention, hazy golden body, slow rising carbonation, and no lacing. The aroma presents citrus, pine hops, tropical fruits, and malt. The flavor of this beer presents moderate bitterness, citrus, pine hops, tropical fruits, and caramel malt. This beer’s mouthfeel is moderate carbonation and it is a medium bodied beer. Overall, a very quaffable beer with a lingering bitter aftertaste. The flavor is very good and this beer is worth trying and it is a beer that I would partake in again.

arminjewell (9256) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - NOV 24, 2015
Pour on tap at the brewery, hazy golden-orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of mango, orange, citrus, some slight pine, dank notes into a bit of biscuit. Taste was a mix of orange, grapefruit, some tropical fruits into a bit of spice, pine, dank notes, hints of caramel, finishing fairly bitter.

From a bomber. This beer is amazing. Pours a nice head that lingers. Heavy hops on the nose and taste doesn’t disappoint. Crisp mouthfeel and lingering flavor. This is really a great beer (cool label as well). Highly recommend.

Bomber from arminjewell. Nose is light pine with some mango. Hazy orange with a medium lightly lacing off white head. Flavor is lightly bitter with lots of fruitiness and just a hint of resin.

Nose of peach and grains. Tastes very citruscy and sweet hides the alcohol really well. Had a bomber pour at home. Pours a rich cooper with a thick reddish cream head.

Orange pour from 22oz bottle at home, thanks to Decorte. White fluffy head. Citrus juicy and fruity aroma with hints of vanilla. Grapefruit, pine, orange, and bursting with hoppy fruity flavors. Delicious. Pretty bitter.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were very long lasting and left behind a softly carbonated transparent orange brown colored body and a thick foamy lacing. The mild aroma was hoppy. The sharp vinous crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a strong hoppy aftertaste. The nice flavor contained notes of bitter Cascade hops mild caramel mildly vinous and hops. Delicious and one I would certainly like to have again.

22oz bottle w/a typically cool/sinister label: Hops were submissive & dry relative to the massive malt wallop. IBUs still seemed high though.
