COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
AKA - the satisfier (in the beer sense!), a character filled American style brown ale. When you indulge in a Growler, you will experience complex buiscuity and malt qualities, with hints of dark fruit aroma. The Growler has a rich brown colour with a medium body - satisfy yourself with one of these.

Pours slightly ruddy brown with a nice tan head. Nose has slightly sweet caramel/toffee with darker, dry malt. Palate has some initial sweetness before dark malt brings coffee/choc to dry out the palate and add balance. Finishes with a touch of biscuity malt and a hint of sweetness. Well balanced and very drinkable!

330mL bottle, Pours dark brown with a small quickly fading head and a sweet milk chocolate/biscuit malt aroma backed but intense floral hops. The hops play another big roll in the flavour as well as the biscuit malt but not so much the chocolate. So much flavour in this beer i’m really enjoying it and i’m now looking forward to trying more from the 2 brother.

Bottle from Mane Liquor. Dark chestnut pour with a small off white head. Doesn’t last. Aroma picks up lots of citrus hoppage over roasted, biscuity malts. Works well and the hop bitterness gives it a little pazzaz. Solid stuff. Citrus hoppage over doughy bread and buttery biscuit in the taste. Nice hop bitterness to finish with. Solid beer

15 Jan 2012 - poured bottle from cold refrigerator into tulip glass. Dark brown color with medium beige head that dissipated quickly. Medium to light body with nutty flavors and earthy, ever so slightly bitter, finish. Reminded me more of an English brown ale than an American one. Overall good, but not necessarily memorable.

Bottle. Chocolate and caramel on the nose. Chocolate again in the flavour, along with earthiness and minerally. Solid.

Tap. Heavy, malty brown ale. Really struggled to finish a pint of this. Dull, flat toffee throughout with little hop bite. Very macro tasting and more than a bit disappointing. Great tap handle though.

From a 330ml bottle on 26/1/2011. Pours a dark reddish brown. The aroma is quite chocolatey and malty, with some dough thrown in. The palate is extremely creamy and smooth. The flavour is primarily sweet milk chocolate, with just a hint of bitterness to provide a contrast. Quite interesting and reasonably enjoyable, but it would be better if it was more assertive at the end.

330ml bottle. Light brown to black in colour with a modest light beige head settling quickly. Aroma of smoke and burnt , roasted malt that is as pleasing as the flavour. Hints of chocolate croissant in the flavour, which is light in the mouth.

Tap. Great beer. Aromas of cola, and caramel. Taste is sweet, with long length. Palate is silky, and medium bodied. Brown, with a frothy white head.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown with some reddih tints around the edges. Extremely thin off white head that feel away very quickly. Very faint aromas of nutty malt and some piney hops and earthy yeast. Not great. Flavours are definately not as expected and a little sweet and sour. Whilst there is a little sweet malt and some bitter hops, the flavour is dominated by an odd sourness. Didn’t really like this one.
