| A Belgian Ale brewed by 2 Brothers Brewery Moorabbin, Vic, Australia
| |
voota (754), Melbourne, Australia Apr 22, 2008 Clear copper with a small white head. Aroma shows a lot of sweetness, yeast, munich style maltiness, a hint of DMS and some nice indian spices, also has some dried peach undertones. Not bad but perhaps a little disjointed. I was expecting a sickly sweet mouthful after the aroma, but it manages to deliver a smooth, moderately carbonated, biscuit maltiness, bitterness is really low. The flavour gives more fruit than the aroma, sweet dried peaches, some jammy apricots and a fair whack of spicy yeasty esters. The finish is sweet and I think it needs a touch more bitterness to straighten it out. Nice to drink all the same.
