COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
TAAAXI! ... it's an essential part of a big night out. This clean German style pilsner was designed to be a no-brainer. Brewed only mit Malted Barley, Hops and Water, it has a soft malt character and a balanced bitterness. We're pretty confident it will drive you home.

Bottle from Mane Liquor. Not a great pilsner. Easy drinking but a little metallic and there is no reffreshing feel to it like pilsners should have

330ml bottle. Brilliantly clear and an amber gold colour with a moderate but level layer of foam. Grassy straw aromas with a clean crisp flavour. Light on the palate with not a lot going on. Great bright eye catching label.

Tap. Light grainy smell and taste. Very, very light hop involvement. Bland macro style lager really.

Certainly one if the better Australian pilsners going around. Good aroma with clean malt hints if stone fruits and a slight sulphur profile too. Clean finish ending slightly sweet.

Tap. Great pilsener. Aromas of honey and flowers. Taste is sweet, with light bitterness, and average duration. Oily in the palate, and thin-to-medium body. Yellow, with a fizzy white head.

Bottle. Pours a golden straw with billowy white head. Nice looking beer. Aromas are showy lots of fruity yeast character and perhaps a little sweet malt. Definately not what was expected. Flavours shows a little malt sweetness and minimal hop character and a weird fruity taste coming through near the end. Mouthfeel is quite soft. Have to agree with Bluevegie about this being more of a fruity lager than a pilsner.

Bottle. Gold with a small white head. Medium bead. Smells of dough and flowers with some sulfur. Very thin body. Hollow malt. Quite a lot of vanilla. Vaguely bitter. Dry finish. Has more character than most German style pils, but is not as harmonious.

Pours golden amber with a small but persistent head. Nose shows some floral and grassy hops and a slight hint of bready malt. Quite traditional, but still manages to be quite interesting. Quite sweet flavours, with lots of clean malt, but some floral hops do shine through and mix with a dry bready finish. High carbonation, light body - what you’d expect in a pilsener.

Draught at Royston Hotel, Melbourne. Pours golden with a medium lively white head. Rich malt and citrus and grassy hops. Notes of spice as well. The flavour is nicely malt driven and balanced nicely with the spicy, fruity hops. I just hope we see more well crafted pils like this from our micros in Oz.
