TAAAXI! ... it's an essential part of a big night out. This clean German style pilsner was designed to be a no-brainer. Brewed only mit Malted Barley, Hops and Water, it has a soft malt character and a balanced bitterness. We're pretty confident it will drive you home.

330ml bottle Pale straw, slight haze, holds a firm white head. Subtle aroma; doughy biscuity malts, touch of vanilla and pale toast, hint of floral hop. Medium body, soft carb, quite delicate. Crisp palate with cracker biscuit malts and floral hops. Restrained bitterness, short finish. Not much to it but well made

Tap. Clear, golden, minimal head, white foam, light sweetness, lightly bitter, light body, thin feel, average carbonation, & astringent finish.

Quite an attractive number. Deep, orange gold and radiant but not quite bright. Head holds high; a half inch of white foam that laces well. Subtle nose; spicy, clean hops and bready malt with a hint of lemon peel and passionfruit. Moderately bitter bite in back, spicy but more a phenolic spiciness than one derived from hops. Mildly soapy feel and light body with a sprightly carbonation. Quite dry with cereal grains upfront and a lingering pinewood note that builds as thee glass empties. I like it but think it needs the edges trimmed. Unsure of bottling date but this one doesnít seem brewery fresh. One for a re-rate. (33cL, no date stamp, The Liquor Shed, Jandakot)

Bottle at Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear light amber with a thin broken white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is light malt. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter with a pure sweet sickly eartjy mineral malt palate. Light to moderate bodied witn lively carbonation. Pretty awful I must say.

Draught in Melbourne. A sub-par Aussie attempt at a German pilsner. Too sweet and lacking in dry hop bitterness. Refined smooth palate is a redeeming feature.

This is a pretty ordinary, refreshing enough pilsener. Not my type of beer. Shared bottle at plonk.

Pours a golden yellow with a foam white head. Largely malty aroma that was unexpected for a pilsener. Other reviews of this did not regard it highly, however I found it to be one of the better Aus pilseners that Iíve tried. A little light citrus aroma to compliment the malt backbone. Very well accompanied the pork entree it was matched with. Typical light and dry flavour, however I didnít find any of the sour yeast flavours that others had described. Maybe I got a good batch

Bottle (and an old one at that). Seemed excessively malty to me, with not enough bitterness. The age of the bottle didnít help. I would like to try this fresh on tap for a comparison.

Pours a clear yellow with a fizzy white head. Nose is a bit of noble hop and not much else. Taste is clean and crisp, with a bit of spiciness and a wet cardboard finish. Not bad, but nothing outstanding.
