1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 nate2g (1548) - Marlborough, NEW ZEALAND - NOV 21, 2009
Bottle. Pours a straw yellow with no head whatsoever. Aroma and flavour of lemon candy, cardboard and dusty hops. Weak carbonation. More lemon in the finish. Very little character at all and I struggled to finish this one. A seriously dumbed down wit. Disappointing from these guys.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 kearnsy (68) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - JUL 10, 2009
Clear straw coloured foamy white head. Great yeasty bubblegum and vanilla aromas. Flavour is all sweet malt with yeasty overtones with spice too. Smooth mouthfeel, little hop presence. An excellent witbier considering it is brewed in Melbourne Australia! My favourite 2 brothers beer, but as previously outlined, needs to be unfiltered to get that cloudy look. Overall a very crisp, sharp and dam good tasting beer, well done.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Chrism86 (294) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - APR 17, 2009
Hmm why is this wit not cloudy? Pours pale, pale lemon/straw with a small head that dissapears quickly. Nose has mellow wit characters of banana and bubblegum as well as very subtle spice. Palate allows the wheat to come through. More sweet banana before gritty wheat adds a slight tang to the finish. Really should be un-filtered, would give it a complete lift.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 bluevegie (2923) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - APR 6, 2009
Tried on tap at the brewery. Clear watery straw coloured body with short head. Light banana in the taste though don’t notice the coriander, clovey and a bit sweet. Fairly simply made.

Sweet confectionary laden style that has punter appela but is a bit hard to take seriously. Lots of bubblegum and Tingle Fruits on the nose and palate but it the flavours end up being quite cloying. Lacks bakbone (I guess that’s the style) but really I couldn’t drink much of this.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 UnholyBrewing (517) - Central Florida(Upper Hell), Florida, USA - SEP 14, 2008
...sampled at the brewery, and went away with a growler full. This was my favorite of the bunch, I just wish it was un-filtered. Poured a clear yellow, with a thin white head that lasted, good carbonation. Aromas were very strong citrus, some bananna, with a hint of corriander. Flavors were wheat malt, alot of citrus, and some clove spicyness. Smooth texture, very refreshing and slightly creamy. HIt had a great wheat flavor with a crisp citrus spice finish. Shorter finish than an unfiltered wit, but still a great brew definitely worth trying.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Dredd (591) - Bentleigh, AUSTRALIA - JUL 27, 2008
Good clean beer, initial aromas are a touch of banana, lemon and coriander spice. Appearence is hazy yellow with a thin head, but is nice to look at. Flavour is a mix of banana ester notes and citrus and spice, perhaps it finishes a tad shor, but overall is a great interpretation of the Witbier style.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 voota (765) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - MAR 27, 2008
Clear golden with a nice white head. Aroma of freshly ground corriander, a few spicy esters and some lovely wheaty sweetness. Smooth mouthful, fuller in body than most wits which works well for me, lots of wheat malt sweetness fills it out too. More fresh spices, bready malt and a touch of citrus in the flavour, has the estery taste of a fine bavarian weizen, and the a lovely sharp finish. A great beer in a style full of mediocrity.
