Salmoniform (992) - Sweet Home, Oregon, USA - MAY 17, 2014
Poured from bottle to glass crystal clear straw hue. Aroma is faint pear, green apple, acetic, phenolic. Mouthfeel is good with a medium light body. Taste is dry sweet initially with a tart following and phenol dominated finish. Overall, this was by far the worst cider that Iíve had from 2 Towns. Most of the ciders are great but this fell quite short. Far to phenolic tasting.

I expected more, I guess. The aroma and flavor was that of apples with a slight "mediciny" note of pear. The appearance was pretty nice. After tasting it, it had no body. No substance. I wanted to like it a lot more than I did. I canít give this even a 50% score, which saddens me for a small, local cidery. Also, to some of the other reviewers, this is an Apple Pear cider. NOT a Perry! Big difference. Learn the lingo, itís not a generic term for a "pear cider".

Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle. Yellow color with a small white head. The aroma is very faint. The flavor has some sweet pear and apple flavors.

(22oz bomber thanks to bu11zeye) clear bright gold, ring of fine white bubbles. Nose is faint, light funk, sweet apple, sugar. Taste of sugar, lightly tart apple, well carbonated, not super complex and not much too it.

Bomber from Harry & David in Medford, OR. Pours light gold with a few white bubbles on top. Aroma is wood and pear. Med minus body. Flavor is pear, pear skin and wood. Astringent and not at all sweet. Very drinkable perry.

Looks crazy still as you pour it. A lightly funky barnyard aroma, very rustic and cidery. Itís a little thing with a roll of woody pear and a harsh acidity. If anything I would say that this wa a little thin.
