Draft. An Imperial version of their normal 563 Stout. Nitro. Mahogony beer with a huge beige nitro head. Chocolate and light roast aroma. Big dark chocolate flavor. Medium body. Big chocolate malt lingers with light roast. Light bitterness throughout.

I had this on draft at 21st Amendment. This was served on nitro. Thin palate, some light roastiness. it was easy drinking.

A deep dark stout with a resilient thick moka head, creamy and onctuous, nitro tap. In aroma, a nice nutty beer with chocolate overtones. In mouth, a light chocolate with chalky notes, a bit light for an IS. On tap at brewpub, Jan. 17 2009.

Nitro at 21A. Pours a deep brown with tons of amber highlights and a large creamy very light tan head that left lacing. Aroma of light roasted malts, caramel, tobacco, nuts and light coffee notes. Flavor of cappucino, milk chocolate, caramel, earthy, nuts and light roast. Wimpy imp stout...but a nice creamy stout.

Nitro tap at the brewpub. The body was black with a creamy thick light tan head. thanks a lot, nitro. The aroma was chocolate and coffee. There was also some plum. The taste was sweet dark chocolate sweet with donuts. This was decent, but the nitro kills it. Bland for an impy stout.

On tap at the brewery. Quite excellent. Nice, thick head, tons of creamy roasted and chocolate malt flavor. Go ahead, pour me another.
