COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Amber Waves incorporates five different caramel malts to impart complexity, adding a little honey-like sweetness, as well as dark, roasted caramel flavors. To give it an aroma and finish that transports one to an orange grove, 21st Amendment’s brewers used All-American Centennial hops.

2011 GABF Gold Medal winner in the American Style Amber/Red Ale category.

Pretty clean tasting amber. Kind of a dark orange color. On tap at Red zone with the folks watching the Blazer game. Not bad, I could have a couple.

Hazelnut colour with lasting head. No obvious aroma. Light fizz. Pretty unremarkable ale, but drinkable. (K)

Tap @ 21 A. Deep amber, hazy color with light head retention. Aroma is earthy piney hops and tones of caramel and toffee. Flavor is not going to surprise you but it is solid. Mirror image of the aroma with the toffee and caramel upfront with the earthy pine bitterness in the finish. My favorite among the sample flight. I guess this won a medal in 2011? Yep, it sure did!

Tap at the brewery. Clear reddish amber pour with a frothy head. Very nice! Well balanced citrus hops with a bold malt sweetness. Well done!

Deep flavor with a hint of coffee accent. Overall dark brown in color. Would be good dinner beer to match a red steak. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Not a bad amber. Pours a beautiful clear red with a light white head. Not much smell, slightly fruity. Taste hoppy upfront with a malty finish. Had on tap at the brewery. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
