Back in Black is our newest year-round beer available now in six pack cans and on draft. Brewed like an American IPA but with the addition of rich, dark malts, this beer has all the flavor and hop character you expect with a smooth, mellow finish.

Fra fad, RedFarm, NYC. Petfekt balanceret ml maltsødme og let udtørrende bitterhed. Karamel, mild lakrids, grapefrugt, citrus, gran. Nå ja, og den er - sort! Skummet er lysebrun og frodigt. God Black IPA.

Can at wob. I like this beer much better in the can. Fresh, highly carbonated, hugely roasted. Nice coffee flavor throughout, medium bodied. Slight slick mouthfeel on the finish. Awesome tasty Sessionable brew.

12oz can. Pours black with an off white head. Roasted malt, coffee, pine. Easy drinker. One of my favorite beers from 21A. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can on April 14, 2014 (but bottled on Oct. 24, 2013). The beer’s a dark brown/black pour with substantial head and lacing. Malty aromas. The hoppy flavors are a bit skunky, due most likely to the fact that this can is too old. Very subtle hops, not that bitter at all. Hard to give an accurate rating due to the old can.

Can to glass at Zentan in dc. Slightly nutty aroma. Dark pour with brown head but it's dark in this place so hard to gauge. Hop forward with toasted roasted malt flavor. Not as robust as, say, Mother Road Lost Highway but good beer. Seems like a thin version of the style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours a dark black, but light can seep through the edges of the glass. Has a small creamy tan head. Aroma of a strong hop character with some malt. Taste starts off with a bit of malt sweetness followed by bitterness and a bit of citrus. Good beer enjoyable.

Great cda. Nice bitterness that doesn’t stick around. The lingering taste is of the dark malts used to make it a dark ale. Easy drinker.

Poured at tasting. Pours a dark brown with small tan head. Aroma for me was lightly roasted malts. The taste for me was malty with a small background citrus. Some pine in the finish. Nothing too strong in any profile. Clear and thin bodied. Light and simple.

Rated on 11-14-2010. This canned beer has a large frothy tan head that mostly diminishes, hazy reddish brown body, fizzy, fast rising carbonation, and a fair amount of lacing. The aroma consists of caramel malt, some roastiness, citrus, pine, and bitter hops. The taste is lightly bitter, malty, citrus, and pine hops. The mouth feel is lively and this beer is medium bodied. I did not find this beer to taste overly hoppy which is fine by me since I am not a hop head. It is a very drinkable beer, worth trying and a beer I would drink again.
