COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Back in Black is our newest year-round beer available now in six pack cans and on draft. Brewed like an American IPA but with the addition of rich, dark malts, this beer has all the flavor and hop character you expect with a smooth, mellow finish.

Can, from argo0, thanks! Pours black, with a small, slightly off-white head, and nice lacing. Aroma is hoppy, floral, hay, and some citrus. Flavor is nice and malty--some roasty dark malts mixed with a pleasant flavor, but a little bit watery. Finishes a little bit dry, but not as much as I would expect.

Dark brown color with creamy head. Itís a roasty example, with a good contribution of dark malts and resiny hops, very nice aggressive result.

12 oz can. Aroma: roasty and malty, with hints of resin and toffee. Taste/Palate: sweet, creamy, and a bit thin; finishes bitter and slightly astringent. Fantastic malt/hop balance.

"(Thoughtful face) Black IPA.... I would say itís the beer that instead of wanting to slap the devil out of it, you want to slap the Devil into you. BLACK IPA."- my esteemed roommate. Iím not sure if I agree with that or not because Iím not sure I know what it means. Itís delicious. Bitter, dry, has a bite but is still thirst quenching. Beautiful rich brown/black appearance with small white head. Quality brewery, quality beer.

Love the black IPA style! Itís the bitter roasted flavors of a good porter, complimented with bitter hops. Compared to Otter Creek, not quite as flavorful with still more alcohol. Excellent beer though!

12 ounce can pours nicely into a pint. Well balanced with strong roasty malt flavors and a nice hop finish. Would definitely get again.

Draught at the 21:st Amendment in San Fransisco. Brown head. Dark red-brown color. Roasted malt aroma that also dominate the taste with a tuch of caramell. Big bitterness and hop taste. One of the best balck IPAís Iíve tried. This beer give me hope that there actually are enoyable Black IPAís.
