COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Back in Black is our newest year-round beer available now in six pack cans and on draft. Brewed like an American IPA but with the addition of rich, dark malts, this beer has all the flavor and hop character you expect with a smooth, mellow finish.

8oz sampler at Taphouse Grill. Love the 8oz samplers!! Pours very dark brown with reddish tints and an off-white head. Aroma has roasted malt, caramel and grapefruit, with a bit of cocoa. Taste is of caramel, grapefruit, some grape-ness. Not put together as well as it sounds. Quite dry and a bit rough. Finishes mildly bitter with a blend of roast and citrus bitterness. Shrug?

12 oz can. Pours a dark brown with orange tint and moderate head. Aromas of pine, resin, creamy coffee, and grapefruit. Flavors follow same with toasted bready malts and a bit of ginger. Nice

Nice aroma of some pine, chocolate, and roasted malt. Ebony color, with a fluffy tan head that holds nicely. Sweet richness up front. Bitter chocolate, some burnt malt, and molasses. Bitterness cuts in right away, and is slightly off when blending with sweetness. Get a lot of pine, and bitterness rings throughout finish. Slightly watery mouth feel. Decent.

Do you like black IPAs? If yes, then this is awesome. Basically, imagine what you’d want the style to be, the roast of a nice stout but a little lighter in the body and complementary hops that amplify everything and this is it. Dang good beer.

Can at home while visiting Jacksonville. Pours a dark reddy brown with an off white head. Quite a perfume floral aroma with some choc and coffee in the background. Medium body, medium carbonation. Pine, bitter choc, light coffee, lemon, pine... decent bipa. Nice.

Not a thick dark, obviously, and went down smooth. Good color and nice foam on top. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Black, red hue. Lots of foamy head, lace. Good hoppy aroma, some herbal, some sweet dark bready malts hiding some fruity hops, chocolate and light roast. More of an ipa in taste with some smooth chocolate malt, and light roast.Pine. Grapefruit like bitter. Pretty nice black ipa, dry easy drinking. Not much dark malt harshness, fairly bittered.

I poured it from the can into a pint glass. It pours a dark brown color with a tan head and nice lacing. The aroma is roasted coffee, pine hops, and some chocolate. The taste is coffee, bitter hops, and a hint of chocolate. It was smooth with some carbonation. This is a good black IPA.

My first black IPA, pour is a luminous black, no color hints, with a brown head and lacing. Deep, dark hops smell, malt and roast, light pine, and sweet caramel. Taste is bitter, hoppy, fresh cut grass, malt. Really, quite good

Bitter black and in your face. Malty tangy and not the best honestly. But not the worst either. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
