3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz can. Unfiltered orange-tan body, steady thick white head. Bright grapefruit, citrus aroma. The lack of filtration kind of kills the whole session thing..while lowish in ABV, this is still full bodied. Not quite playing the same citra hop dominated game as a lot of other 2013 session pale ales. A pretty solid Pale Ale nonetheless, its cool to see the style be tweaked out and improved upon. Sessionable enough for me, an enjoyable beer.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can purchased at total wine in Springfield, VA july 2013
Pours hazy orange with lots of suspended fine sediment. No lacing. Nose of floral hops, lite oxidized notes, some lite grapefruit. im sure when this was fresh, it was a bit more punchy. flaovrs are very floral not very bitter and a bit of asprin/medicinal hop notes. its actually quite good however, im sure its great in better condition. a very soft session pale here that im sure is much better in good condition. i will seek this one out more fresh and give it another rating.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Amber color out of the tap with a lasting white head. Nose of orange candy. This is a very flavorful ipa, with lots of grapefruit, orange peel, pine and tangerine over a strong bready backbone. It drinks like am ipa. Nice and fresh from the keg. Maybe it’s because I drank this after the 90 minute, but this seems much bigger than 4.4%.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can poured into my pint glass: pours hazy, light orange, thin white head. Nose is bready yeast, bright lemons, herbal grass notes. On the palate, sweet honey malts, fresh grassy hops and lemon citrus as well. Subtle, sessionable ESB that's clean and green. Reminds me of a British mild in the pub.
