Draft, served in a Nonic pint glass. I like to order bitter-style beers like this, though was surprised by the surprisingly non-bitter flavor. Not what I expected, I was thinking something more like the Rogue Brutal Bitter, but the 21st Amendment bitter was bland and somewhat boring by comparison. Not one that I want to try again.

Very solid extra pale ale. Great beer with good bitterness mellowed out my delicious malts.

Can. Pours out a somewhat orangy color with a small white head. Aroma is of light citrus and floral hops with some grainy malts. Taste is smooth, and has a decent amount going on, fruity citrus hops, light grains, dough, mild sweetness with some bitterness in the finish. Solid session.

Canned from Grocery Outlet. Hazy brownish/orange in color. Somewhat bright hoppy nose with a touch of fruitiness. Hoppy up front with a light malt backbone. Citric hop finish. Full flavored, yet light and drinkable. I guess that’s the point.

An orange amber body that was slightly cloudy. A nice white head that had nice retention and decent lace. Aroma was a mix of citrus hops and mango. A slight bit of pine. Mild sweet malts. Flavor had more grapefruit hops than anything else. Mango and pine flavors were nice. Easy to drink with a slightly dry finish. A good session ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can: Orange and caramel color, sort of muddy. Large sandy head and tons of lacing. Nose is mild, citrus and florals, some malt. There is more floral hop flavor than expected, but not overwhelming by any means. Light citrus and bits of caramel. Likeable, but forgettable.

12 oz. can from BevMo. Pours a semi-cloudy golden. Nose of fragrant citrus and faint spice. Taste of fruity grapefruit hops up front on a bready malt base. Finishes with good bitterness. Light-bodied, yet surprisingly bold with moderate carbonation and a clean mouthfeel. Good balance. Excellent session beer.

12oz can. Cloudy orange with bi chunky lace head. Soft bitter aroma and flavor. Clean and refreshing. Really nice.

12 oz., cool looking can from Vintage Estates Wine and Beer, poured into a Sam Adams "perfect pint." Partly-opaque yellow and orange color, looks like a typical pale ale or IPA. White 1/2" head that sticks around for a while. Very lemony scent, with plenty of malts to back it up. Taste is fruity and piney, not as floral as some full-strength IPAs but not as piney as some other session IPA’s. Overall not bad, I’m just not sure how many breweries can jump onto this beer trend before the market is saturated, since they all taste so similar.

I do appreciate the cans. Reminded me in a way of Lipton Iced Tea. Good but not worth seeking out.
