12 fl oz can shared by Lubiere (merci!), served cold in a tulip glass. 08JL12.

App.: Hazy deep amber with a nice yellowish/off-white foam. Aroma: Rich, bright tropical fruits, resin, juicy and lovely hops, lemony, beautiful with sufficient malt support, a touch of vegetal (unfortunate). Palate: Medium body, somewhat insistent effervescence. Flav.: Interesting, fruity, tropical, slight pine, maybe estery hops??, sufficient malt support; dry with good bitterness and a nice, friendly, tropical fruit salad finish.

Would love to know the hop varieties used...

Way better than the watermelon beer. Clear amber pour with a decent head and nice lacing. Great citrus hop aroma. Slight caramel flavor with tons of hops. Very bitter, but not out of balance with the malt for the style. I’ll be hitting this one again, and I hope the rest of their beers are more like this one than the watermelon one.

Pours a slightly hazy gold-orange. Moderate white head. The nose is lightly citrus with faint notes of caramel. Mouthfeel Leans toward sharp and dry. The taste blends nicely from the citrus hops to the smooth pale malt base. Overall, I gotta say this an impressive session ale which I would recommend for all occasions. It's smooth and easy at 4.4%, and my taste buds are totally satisfied. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12-oz. can. Pours a nice medium orange with a frothy head that quickly dissipates. Sweet citrus (grapefruit and orange) hoppy aroma. Grassy taste with a pleasant bitterness and just a touch of orange and lemon notes. Light body and a refreshing bitter finish. Good craft brew for a summer day.

Excellent Sess. Drunk from the can. Big punchy hops on a made for summer body. Eminently quaffable. Really needs to be drunk cold, as it gets a bit watery and mangled as it warms. Hop burps galore. Top shelf.

Purchased at Craft Beer Cellar in Belmont, MA, enjoyed poolside in Bar Harbor, ME. Enjoyed from can, therefore can't adequately rate appearance but it looked pale gold with thin white head. Aroma of caramel malt and hops. Taste goes Soren with a good bitterness and a nice malt backing. Easy drinking brew that I hope to have again for a better rating.

Appearance: Copper with orange highlights under a voluminous off-white head which fades slow and sticky, leaving patches of lace in its wake. Head settles in a rocky clump which swirls undisturbed.
Nose: Grass and grapefruit right off the bat followed by thirst-inducing pith. Crackers, pepper, and biscuit underneath. Grapefruit rind and oils in the back.
Palate: Clean and parching, she does a lovely job of keeping my thirsty interest from first quaff to last. Lemon, key lime, and grapefruit pith scrub my tastebuds clean while biscuits and English crackers hold everything upright. Freshly cut green grass drying in the sun.
Final Thoughts: Simply delicious and exactly what it set out to be – a damn good Bitter American Pale Ale. Proof once more that craft beer in cans is more than just a gimmick – it is delicious. Yum!

Can: Poured a dark golden color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrus floral hops with light dry caramel malt notes. Taste is dominated by floral hops with clear citrus presence and some semi-sweet malt notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Nice refreshing APA with nice citrus floral notes and limited bitter notes.

Golden brown pour with white head. Very pleasent beer. Not that heavy for a bitter. Will drink again.
