Deep golden color. Citrus and piney hop aromas. Assertive malt backbone supporting the overwhelming bitterness. Dry hopped in the fermenter with four types of hops giving an explosive hop aroma. Previously known as 21A-IPA.

Brew Free or Die is a phenomenal West Coast IPA from the bay area. A potent mix of grapefruit and pine dominate the aroma and flavor. Appearance is light orange and the head has a creamy look, feel, and taste. The hop sensations are dry, sharp, resinous, and slightly oily. It doesn’t really bring anything new to the table for the style but its excellent flavor and balance still make it a must-have for lovers of hops.

Pours pale yellow with creamy white head. Grapefruit and pine aroma. Great hop bitterness with complex malt backbone. Tastes like a touch of wheat and some victory malt. I love this beer one of my top 5 west coast IPAs. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Farmers Fishers Bakers. Pours a clear light color with dense head that fades quickly to lacing and wisp. Active carbonation. Aroma is hop bitterness, light citrus and pine. Flavor is classic IPA, solid and respectable.

The date on the bottom of the can reads " Best by July 1st." This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a nice looking deep golden yellow to orange color with a nice one and a half finger white foamy head that dissipates at a nice moderate pace. The lacing is quite foamy and thick. The smell had an extremely citrus and piney hoppiness about it with a sweet malty background arising through. The taste has a wonderful bittersweetness confronting my taste buds. There’s a full bittersweet aftertaste that leads to a nice dry finish. On the palate, this one sits about a light to medium with a nice sessionable quality to it. The carbonation is pretty good for me and for the AIPA style. Overall, mmmm...what a great AIPA. I’ll be looking forward to the next batch of this beer and have always loved having this beer with a reuben sandwich.

Can to shaker glass. Pours slightly hazy golden. Aroma of citrus, pine, grapefruit. Taste is bitter hops nicely balanced with the sweet malts. Light body, slightly sticky, low carbonation. Finishes with a sweet up front, lemon zest, herbal bitterness that stays on the palate. I love this stuff!

Poured into tip from can a golden color with huge white head and lace. Aroma was a light citrus with some pine. In the taste I got almost all pine growing in strength through the sip to finish. Finish bittered up and resin taste lingered. Some sips later as the beer warmed seemed more on the citrus side. Med body and slick, enjoyed.
