Deep golden color. Citrus and piney hop aromas. Assertive malt backbone supporting the overwhelming bitterness. Dry hopped in the fermenter with four types of hops giving an explosive hop aroma. Previously known as 21A-IPA.

Type: 12-oz. can Glass: Firestone pint glass From: Barons Market in Alpine, Calif. Price: $1.67 Purchased: June 5, 2015 Consumed: June 5, 2015 Misc.: Enjoy by Aug. 19, 2015 Poured a golden, pale, clear color with 7-to-8 fingers of khaki, white, frothy head. Lots of bubble streams coming up from the bottom of the glass. Tons of foamy spotty lacing on the sides of the glass. Very thick retention. (Sight - 3.75) Smelled Cascade, earthy rye, iced tea, caramel, light floral, grassy, Citra rind and light honey. (Smell - 3.75) Tasted pretty close to the nose, maybe slightly better. More bitter for sure. Got Cascade, earthy rye, caramel, iced tea, light grapefruit rind, Citra, honey and grassy notes. Doesn’t taste 7 percent. (Taste - 3.88) Light body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, bitter finish. (Feel - 3.88) Unfortunately this was a bit warm when I reviewed it. Luckily I’ll have another five to confirm. Liked it though. (Overall - 3.75) 3.82 86 B+

Can from Hippo Beers - old gold colour almost with thick foamy white head. Promising aroma of citrus grapefruity, orangey hops and pine. Same for the taste plus good malt backbone. Medium body, touch thin at the end, soft carbonation. Long light bitter finish. Very nice.

Aroma of pine and hopps. Slightly citrus and piney flavor with a bitter bite. Session able ipa makes for a nice summer brew. Had a can pour at home. Pours copper with a Lacey white head ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can pours orange with golden hints with a persistent head. This is a well-balanced IPA: not too malty; not too hoppy. Overall, a classic IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at brewery with commonmac and rosskyle and wildcard. Gold with white head. Typical ipa aroma. Solid hoppy flavor profile. Some resin. A good standard ipa.

Some citrus in the aroma and a tiny note of pine. Nice deep yellow, almost gold, with a huge off-white head with some staying power. Sweet malt in the beginning. Rich mouthfeel. Bitterness ooze’s in nicely. Some citrus, pine notes with bitterness....fresh. Finish is a smooth bitterness, doesn’t overstay it’s welcome, Solid IPA but nothing special.

amber pour with a thin eggshell color head. has a pineapple, mango, pine, and a light citrus aroma. flavors of caramel, hay, pine resin, citrus, nutty, and faint floral notes. has a very strong malt backbone that some what over powers the hop notes. medium body that was sticky and chewy on the palate, with a mild bitterness that stuck around. not a bad brew overall.
