3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz. can, consumed on 3-27-10. Clean, fresh, dry smell of wet grass, watermelon, and dirt-y, English-style hops. Pours a brassy gold with a yellow-orange hue and many small bubbles. The liquid is mostly clear with some haze. Large amount of fluffy, off-white, uneven head. Lemon and white vinegar flavors. Salty, especially in the finish. Watermelon and melon; fruity malt underpinning beneath the hops. Toothpaste-like flavor to the finish. Too salty/sour for me. Alcohol flavor evident in the taste, somewhat surprisingly. Soft and light bodied. Seems insubstantial in the palate.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Clear golden color with a rocky thick white head. Aroma is creamy and fruity with apricots, grapefruit and pine. Flavor moderately snappy bitterness, with more fruity aromas coming through. Lightly astringent on the palate. This beer shows that an IPA can be drinkable and flavorful at the same time. I donít think the bitterness is overwhelming, as the commercial description states, but maybe I just have a high tolerance.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
can, thanks dkachur! Pours light orange with a mild haze, tall frothy white head. Really nice hop aroma, almost made me sneeze. Part pine, part sour citrus. Flavor is very nice, mellow grassy malt flavors, with a mild orange juice flavor ends with a well balanced hop bitterness that lingers with some citrus. Very nice.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap. Poured a medium amber with a thin head. Nose was light hops. Not too citrusy or piny but nice. Flavor was well balanced with solid malts a nd a quality lingering bitter finish. Solid.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Light amber, nice head. Big citric hop aroma, lots of grapefruit, pine. Flavor is mildly caramel malts up front with a good bit of citric hops and a clean, bitter finish. More hops on aroma than flavor in the palate, but the bitterness definitely there. A nice, big IPA.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
From a can, clear deep golden color with a nice dense off white head and sticky lacing. Moderate mostly piny aroma. Somewhat papery and grassy flavor. Some citrus and pine here as well. Earthy and basic with, still some of that wet cardboard box flavor. Softly carbonated and a little on the sweet side. All in all, decent

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can. Pours a clear gold, small white head. Very subtle notes of hops and malt on the nose. Malts and hops dominate the flavor profile, maybe a touch of caramel in the background. Finish is bitter and dry.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz can. Transparent, orange-tan color. Foamy off white head. The aroma is very pleasant, cool, flowery, fresh hops. Very smooth on the palate, mellow carbonation. A nice balance between the malt backbone and the dry hopping. A touch soapy. It lacks something body-wise, a little hollow. OK. A little too strong for itís own good, doesnít really mask the alcohol well after awhile.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can in trade from bhensonb I believe. Aroma is quite nice, plenty of citrus zest and pinesap, just like the description, caramel/crystal malt backbone. Flavor much the same, big juicy citrus character, fades through the middle, malt is starting to dominate. Pretty clean, well attenuated. Iíve had the can for some time now. Need to rerate this fresh, imagine itís pretty solid, and quite a bit underrated.
