Can into a red wine glass. Orange color and hazy. Minimal head. Lively aroma - bright citrus hops, apricot, peach, caramelized pineapple, and pine resin in the back. Medium bodied. Very fruity palate, bitter, more stonefruit notes, slightly floral. The finish is a bit unrefined, showing just a trace of heat. Very good, but not great.

12 oz can poured into a pint glass. A: Pours an amber color with tiny specks of yeast floating around. The head is a creamy two finger offwhite shade. While retention isn’t the greatest, I love the texture and the lacing it leaves behind. S: The hops have faded a bit on this one, but it still provides hints of pine and grapefruit. There’s a lot of caramel and toffee malt featured here, as well. Decent aroma here. T: I first notice some minor piny hop flavors to start, before it washes away with a lot toffee-esque malt. The finish is earthy with touches of fruity esters (unheard of in an American IPA, it seems); to the point where one could mistake the back end for excess booziness. The earthy nature of the malts aren’t my cup of tea, but it’s okay otherwise. Seems to be a bit more complex than many others in the style. M: It’s well attenuated for all of its maltiness, creating a fairly dry brew in spite of the faded hops and creamy feel. There is a bit of lingering sweetness on the front of the palate, which is expected. O: Gotta love a canned IPA, even if this one isn’t fantastic. I’ll have to give this a second chance fresh.

Pours a cloudy gold with a large white. A decent citrus, spruce, and herb hops aroma. It has a medium bitter aroma. That taste is medium bitter as well but with a light sweetness. The body is light with slight sticky texture. The finish is slightly bitter. I would say this is a slightly above average IPA. It’s worth picking up if you need an IPA that’s readily available in cans.

Nice bright and breezy. Softly citric some tangerine with graoefruit. Soft bready toffee malt body. Well put together but not a heavy hitter either.

12oz can. Pours a hazy light amber orange color with a thick white head. Aromas of citrus and sweetness from the malt. Taste is lemon, apricot, grapefruit, spicey hops, and maybe some caramel and light toasted malts.

Pours light orange, with a thin white head. A nice floral hop aroma, that leads to a solid body with notes of pine and citrus. Finishes sweet and woody. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

fairly hoppy beer, a bit bitter at the end. Overall lots of citrus taste that highlight the beer and there is enough malt that the hops are not overbearing on the palate.

As soon as I opened the can I got hit in the face with the smell of strong, citrus hops and spices. The color is a hazy lemon yellow, with a foamy head. The taste is delicious. The hops kind of work together in such a way that with one sip there are pine notes, with the next it’s all citrus and flowers, and then grassy herbs the next time, etc. Behind it all there is a really solid, rich, buttery malt. I will buy this again.

Just a great beer! Pours a hazy golden yellow with a small white top. Aroma is citrus and floral hops. Taste is a lively citrus hop bitterness that livens up the mouth and tickles with a sweet finish. Nicely balanced with bready malts.
