Deep golden color. Citrus and piney hop aromas. Assertive malt backbone supporting the overwhelming bitterness. Dry hopped in the fermenter with four types of hops giving an explosive hop aroma. Previously known as 21A-IPA.

12 oz can poured into a pint glass. A: Pours an amber color with tiny specks of yeast floating around. The head is a creamy two finger offwhite shade. While retention isnít the greatest, I love the texture and the lacing it leaves behind. S: The hops have faded a bit on this one, but it still provides hints of pine and grapefruit. Thereís a lot of caramel and toffee malt featured here, as well. Decent aroma here. T: I first notice some minor piny hop flavors to start, before it washes away with a lot toffee-esque malt. The finish is earthy with touches of fruity esters (unheard of in an American IPA, it seems); to the point where one could mistake the back end for excess booziness. The earthy nature of the malts arenít my cup of tea, but itís okay otherwise. Seems to be a bit more complex than many others in the style. M: Itís well attenuated for all of its maltiness, creating a fairly dry brew in spite of the faded hops and creamy feel. There is a bit of lingering sweetness on the front of the palate, which is expected. O: Gotta love a canned IPA, even if this one isnít fantastic. Iíll have to give this a second chance fresh.

Delicious and dank, with a pretty clean malt profile and a big, pungent hop aroma and taste. It also gets an extra .1% for being a shout out to New Hampshire. Iím just biased like that.

Pours a light amber from a can, white head with lots of lacing. Good piney hoppiness in the nose and mouth. All around good IPA.

Draught @ Taproom No307. Clear rich yellow with small foamy white head, grassy hops aroma, low carbonation, slightly sweet taste with balanced hops bitterness, longish finish. Very nice IPA.

Can at home while visiting Jacksonville. Pours gold with a white head. Lightly sweet piney aroma. Medium body, medium carbonation. Pine, lemon light toast, orange pith... Nice enough.

Can---light, hazy copper color that matches the background on the can almost perfectly. Nice medium to large frothy head. Aroma of biscuit and malts along with pineapple. The taste is the pineapple citrus noted in the aroma with a backbone of malt. Medium carbonation. Lucked out that I found this in Asheville and the can attracted my eye!

Draft pour at Mtc Office. Pours dark gold with slight head. Aroma is subtle malt and citrus. Initial taste is of pine, tar and grapefruit with a bitter aftertaste of hops and tar which lingers (and lingers). An OK IPA but not one to have several at a sitting (too bitter).

Medium gold with some creamy head. Distinct buiscuity bready crakery malt aroma. Fruit, sweet. Could use more hop freshness cuz it wasnít explosive as described. Taste is kinda oxidized with some fruit and citrus. Malts, medium full sweet, pretty bready ipa. I kinda like that. Fruit citrus and some pine, soft sweet bready malts. Grassy pine bitter, but not too much.

Malty-piney nose. Medium oily-creamy body. A bit overbittered with not much noble hop flavor. Some harshness in the finish, Good, but doesnít stand out among all the other IPAs.

Aber color with a generous white head. Citrus aroma, taste grapefruity with a clean finish. An excellent IPA, worthy of a hop-head.
