12 oz can poured into a pint glass. A: Pours an amber color with tiny specks of yeast floating around. The head is a creamy two finger offwhite shade. While retention isnít the greatest, I love the texture and the lacing it leaves behind. S: The hops have faded a bit on this one, but it still provides hints of pine and grapefruit. Thereís a lot of caramel and toffee malt featured here, as well. Decent aroma here. T: I first notice some minor piny hop flavors to start, before it washes away with a lot toffee-esque malt. The finish is earthy with touches of fruity esters (unheard of in an American IPA, it seems); to the point where one could mistake the back end for excess booziness. The earthy nature of the malts arenít my cup of tea, but itís okay otherwise. Seems to be a bit more complex than many others in the style. M: Itís well attenuated for all of its maltiness, creating a fairly dry brew in spite of the faded hops and creamy feel. There is a bit of lingering sweetness on the front of the palate, which is expected. O: Gotta love a canned IPA, even if this one isnít fantastic. Iíll have to give this a second chance fresh.

12 oz. can. Clear copper orange with a frothy two-finger white head and excellent lace. Aromas of floral and grassy hops, pine, toast and bread. Modest grassy hop bitterness, with a muted toasted malt sweetness. Light to medium body, gentle carbonation, creamy smooth mouthfeel and a crisp dry finish.

Poured from a 12 oz can with a best by date of 11/11/2016. Aroma is hop forward with a lot of grapefruit, pine resin, and dank notes. Medium malt notes with cracker, toasted bread and some lighter caramel. A hint of alcohol. Pours a fairly clear, pale, golden orange with a medium sized, thick, white head that slowly recedes to a thin film that lingers. Moderate lacing and no legs. Flavor has a moderate sweetness with cracker, toasted bread and some light caramel malt notes. Medium high bitterness and a hint of alcohol spice with a fairly dry finish. Medium strong hop notes with a definite woodiness, but also some grapefruit and pine resin. Hints of other citrus and fruit. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low, but present alcohol warmth. Overall, a pretty boring IPA. Too malty and the hop profile is old fashioned and woody as opposed to fruity and tropical. It is a clean beer though.

Citrus pine mix of hop arona. Good blend. Medium high in strength. Clear gold with a white cap of head. A bit sweet, with I think crystal malt bringing the sweetness. Pretty thun body but bubbly.

Can poured into tulip. Very little head but great lacing. A bit malty for an IPA. Some citrus notes, but not overpowering. Slight aftertaste. Decent and not a typical IPA. Cool can as well.

12 ounce can. Honey gold color topped by a large rocky white head. Aromatic piney hop nose. Toasted malt and spicy hops. Typical west coast IPA. Spicy hops balanced by a crisp, nutty, toasted maltiness. Overall, easy to drink with a solid malty backbone. Spicy hops are there for the taking.
