Deep golden color. Citrus and piney hop aromas. Assertive malt backbone supporting the overwhelming bitterness. Dry hopped in the fermenter with four types of hops giving an explosive hop aroma. Previously known as 21A-IPA.

12 oz can poured into a pint glass. A: Pours an amber color with tiny specks of yeast floating around. The head is a creamy two finger offwhite shade. While retention isnít the greatest, I love the texture and the lacing it leaves behind. S: The hops have faded a bit on this one, but it still provides hints of pine and grapefruit. Thereís a lot of caramel and toffee malt featured here, as well. Decent aroma here. T: I first notice some minor piny hop flavors to start, before it washes away with a lot toffee-esque malt. The finish is earthy with touches of fruity esters (unheard of in an American IPA, it seems); to the point where one could mistake the back end for excess booziness. The earthy nature of the malts arenít my cup of tea, but itís okay otherwise. Seems to be a bit more complex than many others in the style. M: Itís well attenuated for all of its maltiness, creating a fairly dry brew in spite of the faded hops and creamy feel. There is a bit of lingering sweetness on the front of the palate, which is expected. O: Gotta love a canned IPA, even if this one isnít fantastic. Iíll have to give this a second chance fresh.

Honestly when drinking this after a glass of red wine the fruitiness really comes out. Really solid IPA ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bitter and hoppy, but not overly so. I appreciate an IPA that isnít just a hop-bomb, this one is on that list. In a world where hoppiness is appreciated, a lot of IPAís tend to taste similar, but this one tastes just a bit smoother than a lot of others.

On tap at the brewpub Sf. Clear golden / light orange coloured pour with a lasting white head. Aroma is nice floral citrus hop with some orange rind, poperie and hints of pine needle hop. Flavour has a down solid malt backbone with hints of caramel, toast, pine needle , citrus rind and bitter lemon. Reminds me a lot of sn torpedo. Palate is medium bodied, some sticky hop resin. Assertive clean hop bitterness. Very good.

Sweet grapefruit aroma. A golden amber body with slight haze. The head is an inch or so and laces the glass nicely. It has a good solid bitter bite but is surprisingly well balance with a malt that makes it taste bud friendly. Has rye like zest with a refreshing bold finish.

Slight fuirt scent followed by a yeasty bready smell. Taste is all hop and yeast taste with nice crisp finish. Has a nice light yellow golden color. I have been on a 21 amendment kick and this one hit my tougue just right wanting me to try more from you. Keep the good stuff coming from the west coast.
