Deep golden color. Citrus and piney hop aromas. Assertive malt backbone supporting the overwhelming bitterness. Dry hopped in the fermenter with four types of hops giving an explosive hop aroma. Previously known as 21A-IPA.

I love "tasty-crack cans," yet I was a bit disappointed by this beer. After trying Back in Black and Bitter American I had high expectations for a clean, hop-forward beer that weren’t really met. It starts out great with a beautiful brilliant brass-colored body and lots of foam. Aroma is lightly pineapple-y but dominated more by malt than anything else. And flavor is similar, malt forward with hops playing a supporting role. Maybe my example was a touch old, but I would think the can packaging would extend the shelf life of this beer quite a bit. Still, I didn’t really think the prominence of malt in this beer was appropriate for an American IPA nor to my taste. Mouthfeel was pretty good. Not bad, just not what I was expecting.

Poured from a can into a glass. Huge floral aroma. Nice darker golden body. Much bigger malt backbone than I was expecting, but it was good. Semi sweet taste with a nice touch of hoppy bitterness.

Poured rom a 12 oz. can poured into a pint glass. Aroma- Basic IPA aroma of hops and more hops, might have a little floral essence tossed in also. Appearance- Nice looking brew, a fairly clear golden orange with a small white head. Taste- Has a nice hoppy flavor with a wee bit of citrus. Palate- A medium bodied brew with moderate to light carbonation. has a nice dry finish. Overall- A nice IPA, I would drink this again.

Pours a clear golden with a medium white head that leaves fine lacing. Nose is of pine and fruits, caramel and some light soap. Taste is lightly sweet and moderately bitter, offers some tropical fruits first and then some caramel and some really light alcohol notes. Body is light-ish, carbonation moderate and mouthfeel a little watery (but also slightly oily). Overall a good american IPA, really drinkable!

Can (12 oz) bought @ Winooski Beverage Warehouse.

Appearance: Clear golden/orange with a medium mostly lasting white head and some lacing.

Aroma: Tropical fruits (mangos mostly) with caramel, piney notes and toasted notes. Soapy notes too.

Taste: Mangos, caramel, pine, light sweetness, toasted malt and medium bitterness.

Palate: Medium body. Medium carbonation. Slightly oily mouthfeel. Dry finish. Lingering resinous finish.

Overall: Good IPA that doesn’t stand out on any features but that is slightly above average in almost any aspects. The "finish" is a bit too sticky and harsh for my liking, but not by much so it’s bearable. Tasty tropical IPA.

Smack you in the mouth hops, not going to pretend I know every flavor going on there...just a good bitter hop flavor to me.

Great overall taste without being overly hoppy. It was not heavy at all. I would definitely try this beer again.

Another good beer from 21st amendment. A nice malty flavor with a solid hop flavor on the finish.

Fruity smell not piney. Amber color small head, a bit maltier than I prefer with a little bitter aftertaste but not much. Good everyday IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
