3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Can Pours a clear golden with a decent off white head. The head seems to last well and produce pretty good lacing. The aroma is hoppy with touches of citrus, mostly grapefruit and pineapple, sweet malts, and faintly pine. Has a good carbonation. The flavor is good and bitter. I love the hops. Has a good balance though and not over the top. Has a medium body. The texture is resiny. Has a good finish with a good aftertaste. I saw a sixer of this and because of the name had to buy it even though it was in cans. The can explains why and it makes sense even though it feels wt. Good drinking beer.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap at brewery with commonmac and rosskyle and wildcard. Gold with white head. Typical ipa aroma. Solid hoppy flavor profile. Some resin. A good standard ipa.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Some citrus in the aroma and a tiny note of pine. Nice deep yellow, almost gold, with a huge off-white head with some staying power. Sweet malt in the beginning. Rich mouthfeel. Bitterness oozeís in nicely. Some citrus, pine notes with bitterness....fresh. Finish is a smooth bitterness, doesnít overstay itís welcome, Solid IPA but nothing special.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
amber pour with a thin eggshell color head. has a pineapple, mango, pine, and a light citrus aroma. flavors of caramel, hay, pine resin, citrus, nutty, and faint floral notes. has a very strong malt backbone that some what over powers the hop notes. medium body that was sticky and chewy on the palate, with a mild bitterness that stuck around. not a bad brew overall.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear amber color and a smallish white head. Aroma is pineapple, tropical fruit. Taste is a bit disappointing. Slightly astringent piney hops and not a lot of citrus hops. ABV is obvious in there, but not too much. The malt backbone is more prevalent than the hops flavor, which isnít to my liking. Citrus rind bitterness is long lasting with the dry finish. Not bad really, just not to my liking.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured a clear amber color with minimal white head. Aroma was mainly citrus hops with a hint of floral. Flavor was grapefruit, lemon, and a bit of sweet malt. Lighter body and think texture. Average carbonation and bitter to finish. Solid IPA for sure. Doesnít really stand out, but Iíd gladly drink more.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at 21st Amendment. Pours a hazy light amber colour with a frothier white head. Aroma is heavy in hop and fruits scents: peaches, apricots, slight grapefruit. Taste is mildly sweet but is balanced by a good bitterness throughout. Medium body, smooth on the palate, and lively carbonation. A really good IPA overall.

A nice IPA with medium carbonation. A nice choice of hops that blend well with the grains.

0.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
This is one IPA that does not satisfy my IPA palette. The malt is too extreme for me to taste the hop and pine resin and citrus load I expect in an IPA. Donít get me wrong, if you like more malt than hop and this is your style of IPA beer then have at it because its not my thing. Itís gross for me, and my other craft beer experts concur this is NOT a favorable IPA for us. Iíll suffer through this point because dumping a craft beer is abuse, but one thing is for sure is Iíll NEVER buy another Brew Free Or Die Young. 21st Amendment has SO MANY OTHER great beers to choose from.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from the can of a fridge-pack (6), not sure why they bothered with the fridge-pack since all 6 are usually gone in about an hour and a half. I have bought about 4 sixes of this beer in the past week or two. Get some bitter in one drink and some fruit in the next, itís like a flavor adventure. I like the graphics on the can, but Iím not sure why Abe would be roughing up the other Mt. Rushmore presidents, but then again why does anyone do anything?!
