Deep golden color. Citrus and piney hop aromas. Assertive malt backbone supporting the overwhelming bitterness. Dry hopped in the fermenter with four types of hops giving an explosive hop aroma. Previously known as 21A-IPA.

I donít know if Iíd call this "strong", but itís not bad either. Nice coloring, though a little paler than Iíd like. Nice white head. Aroma is hops with citrus tones, as well as some spices. Flavor is much the same as the aroma, though the hops are more subdued. Mouthfeel is very nice, smooth without being watery or thin.

This is one IPA that does not satisfy my IPA palette. The malt is too extreme for me to taste the hop and pine resin and citrus load I expect in an IPA. Donít get me wrong, if you like more malt than hop and this is your style of IPA beer then have at it because its not my thing. Itís gross for me, and my other craft beer experts concur this is NOT a favorable IPA for us. Iíll suffer through this point because dumping a craft beer is abuse, but one thing is for sure is Iíll NEVER buy another Brew Free Or Die Young. 21st Amendment has SO MANY OTHER great beers to choose from.

Poured from the can of a fridge-pack (6), not sure why they bothered with the fridge-pack since all 6 are usually gone in about an hour and a half. I have bought about 4 sixes of this beer in the past week or two. Get some bitter in one drink and some fruit in the next, itís like a flavor adventure. I like the graphics on the can, but Iím not sure why Abe would be roughing up the other Mt. Rushmore presidents, but then again why does anyone do anything?!

Can from trade with amazinwlrdfood, many thanks Rob. Orange amber color with thick white head. Citrus hoppy aroma with pines, resin, some malt. Nice citrus hoppy taste with lot of grapefruit zest, resin. Solid malty backbone. Long hoppy bitter finish. Tasty.

can at home from trade with amazinwlrdfood, many thanks Rob :) BB 05/07/2015. orange, almost clear color. big white head. smells fruity, citric, astringent, grass, light grapefruity, light dusty. medium to full body, soft carbonation, rather slick mouthfeel. tastes quite citric, some sweetness, grass & pines, a bit astringent, herbal, oranges. dry / herbal bitter finish. interesting balanced between sweet- and bitterness, missing some fruity notes on this one though, rather herbal / citric. OK.

Rich yellow-gold with a generous head. Smell is understated and includes hay, nutty bread, crisp floral hops. Good body, slightly sweet caramel malts with savory vegetable notes and a long bitter finish.

Can pours orange with golden hints with a persistent head. This is a well-balanced IPA: not too malty; not too hoppy. Overall, a classic IPA.

Purchased at Bottles and Cans in Chicago, IL; enjoyed at home after a long stretch of work in the early spring. Happy that this brewery finally made it to Chicago! Appearance is a clearish darkened gold with a frothy and full white head that nicely laces to the glass. Aroma is citrusy and hoppy, with a touch of pine, smells great. Taste goes down very well, one of the better IPAís Iíve had of late, full bodied and flavorful, Iíve had more bitter beers and feel this one balances out quite well. Very enjoyable.

Amber with white head and gorgeous lacing. Aroma at once sweet and biscuity . Flavor starts sweet citrus, then goes bitter for a while. Lacks balance, but not a bad beer.

Hoop dat dit de goede is, op dr kaart stond alleen "21st amendment ipa" Niet zoín sterke geur. Dun schuim, goede kleur. Smaakt als een lekkere IPA. Bitter, maar niet te, en wel fris.
