Bottle. The pour was a clear medium golden amber with an average sized (1-2 finger) white fluffy head that diminished down to a few puddles and a large collar of residue, creating some excellent sheeting of sticky lacing. The aroma was of a straw like malt, floral and grassy hops and a moldy yeast with notes of caramel and citrus (grapefruit and orange peel). The taste was lightly bitter, mildly malty and a tad acidic with a hint of caramel from the start and then became very hoppy with a strong citrus peel bitterness and a decent alcohol presence towards the end. The flavor lingered for a decent while being of a bitter hoppy citrus taste. Mouthfeel was a few steps beyond light in body with a dry oily texture and a nice lively carbonation. Overall a brew with a good balance of bitterness and maltiness with a great hoppy citrus feel...

Golden pour with lingering, clingy bright white top. Looks great. Aroma of pine with some citrus. Mid-sip blast of pleasant hop bitter, fading off quickly with some malt balance and finishing... almost clean. Just a slight ding for some a little lasting back-of-the-throat roughness in the aftertaste.

Can. Hop Hideout, Sheffield. Clear, orange gold. Film, and thick halo of white. White grape, and pineapple, first off. Very ripe orange. Jusoda. Chewy toffee, sticky malts. Taste is toffee sweet. Rising bitter. Plenty of body. A bit oily. Finishes lengthy, moderate bitter. Decent, albeit a bit sweet for me.

Solid IPA. Orange-gold color. More floral with some citrus properties. Decently malty caramel. Earthy and sweet overall. Still nice beer.

Can from the BottleShop, London - burnished amber coloured pour with white head. Aroma and taste is a mix of tropical and citrus fruits, hoppy and malty, some caramel, toffee, orange, grapefruit and peach, pine needles, hoppy bitter finish. Nice.

Pours cloudy orangish gold body with thin white head. Floral herbal aroma. Strong citrus taste, flowery aspects with mild bitters.

12 oz can pours clear gold with a large white head that dies quickly. Faint aroma of citrus and bread like malts. Tastes is pine and grapefruit. Also grassy and a little doughy. Bitterness is there but there is something unbalanced about this IPA. Just OK.

On tap at Lunar Brewing Co., and shaker served showing a clear & bright, orangey gold color, with a healthy layer of soft white, cakey head foam, and wavy cling to the lacing. Struggled to find the aroma, which was rather subtle, with a dank scent, ripe citrus, and light sweetness. Medium bodied and overly carbonated, the taste presented moderate, tart astringency that morphed into a deep, rind-like bitterness that showed a very lingering quality, coupled with a dry, and a bit soapy finish. Fair, but not very high on my favorite of the week list.

Pour is a hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is a decent fruity hop with melon being the dominate fruit. Flavor is again a fruity hop with some caramel malt in the backround. This is a pretty decent IPA. Hops are here in a big way but also has a nice chewy malt backbone.

Can shared poured a slight orange to yellow with white head. You have to like citra hops to enjoy this beer. Solid malt base plenty of tropical/fleshy fruit hop aroma. The flavor brings more of the same solid malt flavor with plenty of bittering and aroma hops. Overall pretty decent but for me to much of the fleshy fruit flavor.

Type: 12-oz. can Glass: Firestone pint glass From: Barons Market in Alpine, Calif. Price: $1.67 Purchased: June 5, 2015 Consumed: June 5, 2015 Misc.: Enjoy by Aug. 19, 2015 Poured a golden, pale, clear color with 7-to-8 fingers of khaki, white, frothy head. Lots of bubble streams coming up from the bottom of the glass. Tons of foamy spotty lacing on the sides of the glass. Very thick retention. (Sight - 3.75) Smelled Cascade, earthy rye, iced tea, caramel, light floral, grassy, Citra rind and light honey. (Smell - 3.75) Tasted pretty close to the nose, maybe slightly better. More bitter for sure. Got Cascade, earthy rye, caramel, iced tea, light grapefruit rind, Citra, honey and grassy notes. Doesn’t taste 7 percent. (Taste - 3.88) Light body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, bitter finish. (Feel - 3.88) Unfortunately this was a bit warm when I reviewed it. Luckily I’ll have another five to confirm. Liked it though. (Overall - 3.75) 3.82 86 B+
