Sample at GABF 2007. Pours a dark golden yellow with a big beige head that concretes to the crappy plastic taster cup. Superb pineapple and grapefruit aromas. Pine, spruce, apricot and intense bitterness to the flavor. Very nice beer.

Sep 21, 2008 Tap at brewery. Very good DIPA. Nice flavor and aroma, great looking brew. Nice hop aroma and flavor, well balanced.

Aug 15, 2008 On tap @ 21st Amendment. Slightly cloudy amber with a moderately thick light tan head. Aroma is very sweet and floral and hints at the strength without being overly alcoholic. Crushed flowers and citrus. Real fruity flavor - a lot of peppery hops, dried apricots, sweet malts. Delayed grapefruit rind finish. Strong but easy drinking.

Jul 28, 2008 Dark gold and a small, dense, off white head. Huge grassy, skunky, floral, spicy, resinous hops. Solid malt backbone and a bit of alcohol. Full body, balanced carbonation, a bit syrupy. Dry, bitter finish keeps it drinkable. Very nice.

Apr 18, 2008 ABBF ’08 - I found this to be quite enjoyable, a little more on the lighter and balanced side for the style. There is a certain about of earthiness here that I have also not found in a lot of other takes on this style, but a very fresh hop aroma and flavor. Caramel cookie dough body, with lots of citrus and pine notes. Very enjoyable.
