From a 12 ounce can. Second year of having this. Aroma of spiced apple, but tastes like chocolate, nutmeg, and other winter spices. Really enjoy this.

4.6 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Poured from a 12 OZ can into an "Ass Clown" brewery pint glass.
Aroma- World class smell, you can smell the whole spice rack in this beer. nutmeg, cinnamon, malt and some others make this a special aroma.
Appearance- Pours a reddish-brown and has a small white head.
Taste- I truly love this flavor, I have noticed that I am in the minority rating this, but hey each there own.
Palate- A medium bodied lightly carbonated creamy textured beer.
Overall- A great beer for me, this is the first winter warmer style beer I have had and I think the next one I try will be hard to top this one.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Bradley's Food and Beverage in Bethesda, MD.
Hazy. Dark brown with a khaki head and excellent lacing.
Aroma of sweet caramel and roasted malt, dried dark fruit, cloves and nutmeg.
Taste of dark fruit, sweet caramel and roasted malt, toffee cloves and nutmeg.
Medium body and medium carbonation.
Nothing fancy here, but pleasant enough if you are in the mood for a sweet beer. I like that the spices sit back and let the malt and dark fruit dominate.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Roasted malty spice infused dark brown winter seasonal ale. Nutmeg and clove dominant and decent but not but a one timer just to try something different. Average and worth a try to warm you up a bit during the cold winter.

2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Clear, deep red pour with a single finger, slightly tan head. Aroma is a little funky, almost acidic. Chestnuts come to mind. Medium mouth. Taste is a little nutty, hints of pine as well. Weird alcohol bite in this. Spices in this are just odd. Pumpkin pie starts to creep in. Not a big fan of this one.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Canned from Woodland CA. Nose is roasty. Sort of like a strong brown. Some decent spiciness in a fairly roasty beer with malt dominant.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
[Can (12oz)] Pours a dark golden-amber with a large lasting frothy tan head. A good amount of lacing on the glass. Aroma of spices first followed by a hint of vegetal notes, caramel malt, dark fruit and some light sugar. Flavour follows the aroma and has a spicy, lightly harsh finish. Alcohol is well hidden. Good, not great -- I liked it enough.
