y0c_ola (359), fremont, California, USA Oct 1, 2008 21st ammendment general pippos porter: THIS TASTES LIKE GODDAMN BACON! bb (2155), Martinez, California, USA May 23, 2008 Draft. Dark ruby-brown beer with a nice light tan head. Roasty, chocolate aroma. Coffee, roast, chocolate flavor with bitterness to back. Medium-plus body. Chocolate, roast, coffee lingering with a bit of bitterness. ABUSEDGOAT (1917), California, USA Apr 21, 2008 Draft at brewpub: reddish brown color. Fairly light color even for a porter. Aroma is chocolate, PNW hops, caramel, some roast and coffee. Medium to light body, quite sweet. While the description might sound promising, the beer itself lacks refinement. Ramenen (347), San Salvador, El Salvador Apr 9, 2008 Drank it on tap at the brewery. Pours dark brown/amber color. Smokey aroma, very ashy, like smoking a cigar, but light bodied. Delirium (433), Santa Cruz, California, USA Apr 8, 2008 Draught at the brewpub. Pours black with brown highlights and a small off-white head. Aroma is light roasted malt, with some rich chocolate notes. Flavor is mainly roasted malt, mostly rich but a little ashy in places, with a hint of hops in the finish. Slightly thin mouthfeel. Middle-of-the-road, but good.
