4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Can. Pours a clear dark brown body under a one inch frothy beige head that had pretty nice retention. The nose is dominated by the pumpkin, with a lighter accent from the cinnamon, not much in the way of caraway to my senses. Some nice chocolate malt and light roastiness from the malt. The flavor is pretty well balanced between the pumpkin and the Baltic Porter, with the pumpkin winning out by a bit. The cinnamon and caraway provide some nice accents without being overdone. Tastes very clean and well lagered despite the inclusion of the pumpkin. Finishes with a mix of cinnamon, roast, and licorice. Medium bodied with a sturdy malt backbone, rather smooth and easy drinking. This is a really well done pumpkin beer. I could have a few of these guys.

Great execution of a spiced porter. Spice level is just right and provides a unique malt flavor. Nice finish, not overly hoppy. Some brown sugar, hints of black malt, caramel, candied fruit and burnt sugar in the nose. Poured a dark brown, like cola or root beer, tan head. Pumpkin spice.
