12oz can. Poured a hazy golden into a stemmed trappist glass. Not bad at all for the style though I did not pick up on the pumpkin. Has I read the description beforehand I probably would have skipped this one altogether as I seldom like the pumpkin beers. I may have tasted the galangal though I have no idea what that even is so who knows. What I did taste was pretty good though slightly on the sweet side but overall not bad.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can from Capone’s. Pours turbid dark straw with 1-finger creamy off-white head. Nose is white pepper and coriandery spice, hopcitrus, pumpkin, tarragon. Tastes malty, somewhat sweet up front, with spices, mild funk, pumpkin, and yeasty notes. This one is OK, but a bit too sweet for Doc Lock.

This golden colored beer has a sweet but spicy aroma. It hits your tongue sweet with a little spice. It has flavors of cinnamon and pumpkin is very subtle.

Pours hazy gold into a snifter. Bright white head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Sour pumpkin aromas. Sweet pumpkin and spices front to back. Lasting bitter yeast finish. Becomes cloying after a while....

Can pour..decent head at first..medium orange amber hue..not much carbonation as expected..nose is alright with hints of the Belgian sweetness but then gets knocked down by the honey pumpkin cantaloupe presence with a nail polish remover presence..mouthfeel is somewhat a reflection of the nose..not good imo..not feeling the pumpkin take on the style and definitely won’t be giving this one another go..

Enjoyed the Baltic Porter now having the Tripel. Liked the Porter better, but this one isn't bad.
