COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The story starts in 2010 when Dick Cantwell walked into our San Francisco pub. We’d heard about his little pumpkin fest and wanted to get together to brew a pumpkin beer like no other: a Belgian-style Tripel brewed with pumpkin, galangal and terragon. In a dark colored can.

Pours a hazy yellow-orange, very little head. Aromas are sourdough, bubblegum, and plastic. Taste is slightly doughy, dry, with some elements of band-aid and grapefruit rind. Clean finish.

Draught. Pours a hazy orange-amber color with a smallish off-white head on there. Nose is sweet and noticeably Belgian, though there is a fair amount of pumpkin coming through. Taste is sweet and remarkably light and fresh. Pretty good, actually.

Clove, cinnamon, triple sec, pie crust nose. Cloudy amber, thick sticky yellow head. Overripe apricot, pumpkin, somewhat herbal and maybe a bit vegetal (not the pumpkin). Medium body. Unique, enjoyable, but full of competing flavors.

hopmelt (179) - Painesville TWP, Ohio, USA - AUG 31, 2014
Pours clear light golden, finger creamy head, lots of bubbles, rocky lacing. Aroma sweet pilsen malt, clove phenolic, slight pumpkin. Taste balanced, phenolic, pilsen malt sweetness, floral hops to balance, pumpkin in the background throughout. Mouthfeel medium body, higher carbonation, slight astringency, dryish finish. Overall solid beer, pumpkin is in the background, but definetly adds to the beer, nice tripel.

Pours yellow / orange with a quickly disappearing head. Aroma is a wonderful balance of Belgian yeast and pumpkins. Very smooth in mouth, medium bodied, with a slightly sweet / spicy nutmeg finish.

Can courtesy of ajax25g, thanks! Clear golden color, white edge head. Aroma is slightly medicinal and very malty. Taste is similar. Very sweet

Overall a nice unique tripel. Pours a bright orange with not much head. Smells of pumpkin, coriander and spices. Taste has some pumpkin upfront, which then gives way to lots of lemon and citrus. A bit of pumpkin comes back in at the finish. Had in the can.

Can:   Straw, a bit of an orange hue, moderate foamy white head, spotty lacing.   Soft doughy/yeasty triple, subtle spices, and thankfully not too heavy.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   A little phenolic, some rubbing alcohol touches on the finish.   Spices are there, but a bit too muted.   Yeah, soft lingering doughy rubbing alcohol.   Its not caustic, but its there.

Single from greens. Sticky sweet with a little bit of yeast astringency. Dark orange color. Honey and fruit banana and clove toffee. Well rounded and good balance to the yeast.

Cloudy yellow with a thick white head. Aims is peppery with a bit of pumpkin and herbs. Flavor is pepper, pumpkin and a bit of spice. Could use a touch more body, but otherwise pretty solid. Wife: 3.7

Nice malty flavor and just slightly sweet. Looks beautiful when poured and is very drinkable.
