3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz can poured into a pint glass. Pours cloudy golden orange with thin white head. Aroma is punchy caraway and a slightly sweet nutty flavor. Taste is thin light caramel malt with a somewhat abrasive earthy spicy finish. Notes of pumpkin spice, nutmeg, and clove. Not at all sweet, quite bitter on the finish. Can’t say I’d suspect this was a Tripel at all. The box, the can, the story - these guys are simply the best in the biz at packaging. Yet again.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a hazy golden/orange with a nice white head. Spicy to the nose. Carbonation gives it a fizzy but pleasant quality. Spicy mouthfeel, just a hint of the pumpkin, not overpowering, which is good. Spicy then a bit of sweetness on the swallow. Lingers nicely. Not bad. Interesting take on a tripel.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
(Can). Pours slightly hazy orange complexion with thin white head. Light aroma of Belgian yeast. Flavor is traditional Belgian, with yeast, mild pumpkin, black pepper and spices. Interesting combination of traditional Tripel with unique pumpkin spin. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap @ 21A San Leandro. Alright, pumpkin Tripel. Burnt orange colored beer with a soapy white head. There’s a good amount of ginger and spiciness to the beer. Kind of a fruity, cidery quality to it as well, which I’m not sure I like that much. Quite sweet...sort of a mulled cider feel to it, actually. Good bit of sugar, caramel, and pumpkin pie, too. Wasn’t the hugest fan.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can pour into nonic pint glass from Epsom Circle Market, Epsom, NH. Aroma is pumpkin spice (nutmeg, cinnamon), yeasty sour (rotting apple?), mild fruity esters. Appearance is hazy orange-tinged gold with finger-width fizzy white head that dissipates quickly, fair sparkle trace lacing. Taste is moderately sweet fruity esters, cinnamon and mild alcohol early with more traditional pumpkin spice taste late. Palate is medium bodied with creamy/sticky texture, above average carbonation and long pumpkin finish. Overall, not my favorite tripel but among my favorite pumpkin beers. Fortunately (for me), sour notes in aroma don’t translate to the taste.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draught @ Taproom No307. Clear bright orange with large spongy off-white head, typical vanilla like Belgian yeast aroma, medium carbonation, sweetish spicy taste with a little but of bite. I can taste pumpkin and tarragon, but galangal eludes me initially. Medium spicy hot finish (which is when the galangal makes itself known). Very interesting blend which had worked well.

Poured from a 12 OZ can into a pint glass. The appearance is a hazy golden orange with a small white head. The aroma is full of fruit and yeast with some spices tossed in. The taste is a nice blend of pumpkin, spices, yeast and malt. This is a very nice tripel.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can. Clear golden yellow pour with a fluffy white head that fades down to a lasting slight ring. Aroma at first sniff made me think of a spiced apple loaf bread. Solid yeast, strong herbal spices, and apples/fruits. Medium body, crisp finish. Taste is bread like and yeasty, mild fruit, and spices. Actually pretty nicely balanced. Not hard to find the belgian influence here. Overall just ok for me though.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the brewpub sf. Clear golden yellow coloured pour with a lasting fine white head. Aroma is nice clean Belgian yeast, light coriander, slight apple note. Flavour is composed of clean pale grains, pils malts, crisp, light spicy hop, orange rind, rubber phenol. Palate is medium light, crisp in the finish, highish carbonation. Firm bitterness in balance. Decent triple. Hides the alcohol pretty well.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can from Beer, Wine & Co. Body is light amber with thin head. Nose is pumpkin, spices, spunk. Taste is also pumpkin up front with lots of spices, vegetable, malts and funkier notes. A good "go to bed" drink. Pungent and powerful.
