3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz can poured into a pint glass. Pours cloudy golden orange with thin white head. Aroma is punchy caraway and a slightly sweet nutty flavor. Taste is thin light caramel malt with a somewhat abrasive earthy spicy finish. Notes of pumpkin spice, nutmeg, and clove. Not at all sweet, quite bitter on the finish. Can’t say I’d suspect this was a Tripel at all. The box, the can, the story - these guys are simply the best in the biz at packaging. Yet again.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can from Beer, Wine & Co. Body is light amber with thin head. Nose is pumpkin, spices, spunk. Taste is also pumpkin up front with lots of spices, vegetable, malts and funkier notes. A good "go to bed" drink. Pungent and powerful.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can. Pours a hazy golden yellow with a thin white head. Aroma of wheat malt, bread, yeast, peppery spices, melon rind, anise star. Flavor of bready malts, booze, yeast, light fruits, anise star, spices. A pretty tasty canned triple, has a definite Belgian feel to it despite being American brewed.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Purchased at Bottles and Cans in Chicago, IL; enjoyed on a rainy and cloudy Halloween afternoon while writing music. Appearance is a copper gold with a thin white head. Aroma like champagne, light fruit, yeasty. Taste has coriander, I guess there’s a slight pumpkin spice in this one but I’m not really getting it. It’s alright.

355ml can. Golden pour, slight haze. This is a pretty shite brew, lots of acetoney type character, just poor.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
From the 12 fl. oz. can that is dated 09/02/15. The pour is pale yellow with a slight haze. Some foam. he aroma has a feint spicy pumpkin character intermixed with bread, dough, cereal, and grass. Body is medium. The taste has a slight herbal and grassy quality but there is a penetrating bitterness that attacks my senses.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Shared 12 oz. cans poured to small snifters, showing a hazed, gold color, with a modest layer of fluffy, then bubbly, white head foam, and some light, web-like lacing. The nose was orange & lemon peel, with some light, ripened fruit nature, subtle, yeasty phenols, plus other light spice hints as ginger & anise, with some mellowing malt. About medium bodied, with decent expression to the carbonation, the taste added a touch of sweetness, a little warmth, and dry, rind-like bitterness that lingered. Standard, not overly refined Tripel, didn’t find any pumpkin, unless it was the ripe fruit note, but found this rather flavorful in the midst of all the other fall samplings of the evening.
