12 Fl. Oz. Can. Poured clear, golden with a nice white head and some lacing on the glass. Aroma of pumpkin and spice (nutmeg and cinnamon), some fruit in there too. Taste is a bit malty but also fruit, pumpkin and spices. Nice interesting beer, glad I picked a case.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma: Burnt sugar with hints of spice. Appearance: Clear gold with rich white head that dissipates quickly and leaves little lacing. Taste: Light sweetness balanced by a medium sourness. Palate: Light body, soft carbonation, slick texture, long sour finish. Overall: A bit too sour for my taste. A good idea that was poorly executed.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured a slightly hazy yellow color with a very thin white head. Aroma has lots of banana and some lemon, almost like a hefeweizen. Taste is crisp and fruity at first with some cheesy notes and hay. Finish is a little too sweet with not enough to balance it out. Overall it is very flavorful, but the banana is a little strange with not enough hops

1 year old can. Shared at my Summer Plunder Tasting..Belgian tripel - a light golden copper with a solid spices & pumpkin aroma. The body is thin and a bit watery. The taste is bitter earthy spices and light pumpkin. Quite nicely balanced spice wise.

Great balance, pours golden with good head and lacing. Some light floral Belgian. Ok. Not much of the pumpkin, thankfully. Palate a little watery. Tap at Snallygaster.

12 oz bottle from New Season Market in Hillsboro, OR. I am still learning to appreciate Belgian-style ales, so my ability to discern the different flavors and nuances is still rather poor. That being said, I get the strong clove flavor with a hint of banana from the yeast, but I can’t tell yet where those end and the pumpkin and spices begin. The smoothness, complexity, and pleasant flavors mask the high alcohol content quite well. As far as Belgian ales go, Tripels usually sit well with me, and this is definitely one of the better ones I’ve had. I would gladly drink it again.
