Aroma of toast, toffee, vanilla, and subtle watermelon. Taste was sweeter watermelon, citrus fruits, light vanilla, and toffee with a semi-dry finish. GuilTTy (532), Cherry Hill, New Jersey, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 28, 2009 Can (box of cans) from Canal’s in Lawrenceville, NJ. Honestly, I picked this up for the novelty of it and didn’t expect a whole lot but was pleasantly surprised. Pours a mildly hazy goldenrod with a short white head. Aroma of hay, yeast and summer fruit. Watermelon hits you up front paired with a mildly sour yeast note but the flavor mellows and balances nicely after the first few sips. Pleasingly malty with a nice fruity compliment. Smooth texture and a crisp finish. Very refreshing and a solid addition to the patio this summer. Still probably not for everyone but worth a taste - and no seeds! boFNjackson (1269), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 23, 2009 Can... Poured a hazy orange with a white head. Wheats and melon on the nose. Nice crisp and refreshing palate that made this beer a joy to drink quickly. Not worst fruit beer out there. Well-balanced between the wheat and grains and the fruity, summery melon. Glad to have 21st Amendment up here in Portland. LilBeerDoctor (1493), East Setauket, New York, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 22, 2009 Growler from St. James Beverage. Pours a hazy deep yellow with a small white head. Aroma of wheat, yeast, clove, and a slight sweetness. No watermelon in the aroma really. Flavor of sweet watermelon, kind of like a watermelon sno-cone or Baskin Robbins watermelon ice-cream with a wheat malt finish. Very nice. Not artificial tasting either, which can be common in these flavored wheat beers. Refreshing and super easy to drink. I was pleasantly surprised by this; why the low ratings???

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 21, 2009 12 oz can. Aroma is citrus, banana, wheat, and a touch of fruit - watermelon. It’s an interesting beer, mostly watery watermelon (go figure) with a touch of wheat beer. It’s not a bad beer - drinkable, but it’s something that I don’t think would be too appetizing if I wasn’t out in the hot sun for hours before. Bradrcr (779), Renton, Washington, USA

Appearance is hazy straw with a low white head. Flavor is very light and one dimensional, like watered down smarties. Mouthfeel is medium-low bodies with a medium carb texture and light creaminess. Overall, this was actually a very easy drinking brew that just makes you want more flavor. fredandboboflo (1404), East Setauket, New York, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 18, 2009 Growler. Aroma of wheat, lemony citrus, banana, bubblegum. Flavor continues to have lovely, well-balanced wheaty and yeasty notes with a touch of watermelon jolly rancher that doesn’t get in the way of things but also adds a nice sweet-tart aspect to go along with the straight-sweet wheat notes. Pretty creamy mouthfeel as well, crisp and refreshing at the finish. What makes this one for me is that it’s a really solid wheat all around, and the subtle watermelon twist just adds a little extra. Impressive. illkarate (90), Bloomington, Indiana, USA
