It is very very candy-like and sweet though, reminding me mostly of those watermelon sour-patch kids that aren’t actually sour at all. Slightly wheaty but mostly sweet flavor, with an interesting middle note of caramel that works very well, but it is hard to escape that artificial tasting sweetness. I did actually enjoy this somewhat, but I doubt I will ever want to drink it again. scrizzz (1266), kirkland, Washington, USA

Been looking forward to this ever since I saw the can. Hazy soft gold, fluffy white head. Watermelon juice and limestone on the nose. Juicy melon comes through in the finish and follows the dry wheat refreshingly. Great camping, great palate cleanser after an infected beer, thirst quenching, sessionable, sharable. This beer really accomplishes many things. doublebock (196), USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Feb 24, 2009 Light golden cloudy color. Faint aroma. Was suspicious of the flavor but very drinkable. Watermelon flavor is very evident but not overpowering. Would be great on a hot day. Could use some maltiness as its a bit watery. larsniclas (3382), Gothenburg, Sweden

Hazy golden. Medium white head.
Not much aroma at all; some melon.
Fresh and crisp.
Low, dry bitterness.
Flavour from watermelon, but overall too thin and bland. sebletitje (1903), Tampa, Florida, USA

Pours hazy golden with thick white head.
Can has a few months aging.
The overall beer turned out to be quite a good surprise.
Aroma watermelon with faint notes of nutty/caramel malts
Taste, wheat and watermelon, possible light chocolate/caramel malts with a vanilla like touch and very faint bitterness in the finish.
Easy to drink, watermelon is there but not overpowering the beer.

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 16, 2009 Can from Bevmo, I gotta say I was intrigued as I often am about fruit beers, especially the weird ones. Pours orangey with a bright white head. Nose has a touch of watermelon but otherwise dull. Taste is light and clearly has some watermelon flavor. The taste is really pretty hard to handle at first and then it evens out to provide a dull thud of watermelon. Worth trying, without a doubt. nickd717 (1336), Palo Alto, California, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 15, 2009 On tap at the brewpub. Hazy yellow color with a small white head and a watermelon slice on the glass. Aroma is lots of watermelon. Flavor is wheaty with - you guessed it - watermelon. Pretty sour and almost cidery on the finish. Light on the palate, refreshing but a little off-balance in my opinion.
