| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Oct 15, 2008 Pour is redish gold with a large fizzy white head. Aroma is sweet with not much else. Flavor is again not much else. I guess there is some watermelon in there but im not sure watermelon has enough of a flavor it self to be added to beer. Watermelon basicaly just tastes like water to begin with. This is not something i need again. Its like they dropped a watermelon jolly rancher in a beer and let it disolve. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 13, 2008 Odd appearance, but I guess it makes seance. The smell is not telling of the taste and is minimal.
Taste is of a better than average hefe with a tinge of metal and a huge flavor or watermelon rind. Very interesting, and I applaud 21st amendment branching out and trying new things, but its not one of my favorite beers. I imagined that the scores on this will be a bit polarized but I actually will put my score right in the middle. SuzyGreenberg (1337), Seattle, Washington, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 9, 2008 Very cloudy pale golden in color with a thick white head. Sweet mild watermelon aroma. The flavor reminds me of Jolly Ranchers and beer, very strong watermelon with a little wheat. RunDWP (203), San Jose, California, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 8, 2008 Can. Pours a cloudy yellow with a foamy head, that dissipated in a few minutes. No lacing or sheeting on the glass. Not much of an aroma, maybe a slight aroma of watermelon. Tastes like a pretty ordinary wheat beer with a watermelon flavor and tartness. It’s certainly different and unique, but that does not necessarily mean good or refreshing. Compares favorably to Sam Adams Cherry Wheat, but coming from me, that’s not a real high compliment. slimchill (777), Austin, Texas, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 8, 2008 Can. Watermelon and pilsener malt nose. Cloudy pale yellow with active carbonation. Flavor is sourish watermelon and straw, which sounds terrible but is actually unique and refreshing. Slightly thin. A very interesting beer, but not special in any other way. Watermelon provides a nice background note. after4ever (2711), Brier, Washington, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 5, 2008 12-oz aluminum can. Thanks, Riverside! Pours a cloudy, ruddied light amber. Thin white filmy head. Minimal lace. Funky watermelon nose. Fizzy light body, notes of nutty wheat and sweet melon flesh. Mild finish. iowaherkeye (1852), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 22, 2008 12oz can, no date from Bottle Barn. Hazy golden with a short-lived off-white head. Aroma consisted of watermelon Jolly Ranchers and that’s about it. Flavor was the same tart and lightly sweet hard candy, though maybe toned back a hair with some wheat. Minimal bitterness noted in the finish. Light prickly carbonation with a medium body. This had the possibility to be pretty good, but ended up artificial and mediocre at best.
