| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 26, 2009 Definitely works best as a lawnmower beer, good for a hot day. The aroma is wheat, bready, not spicy, and of course, watermelon. The appearance is a light gold color, thin white head. The flavor is some wheat grainy flavor, and a wallop of watermelon juice. The finish is a mild hop bittering, making for a somewhat clean finish. Thin, watery mouthfeel. Not bad for what it is. I’d like to try the variations of this, namely the Watermelon Wheat Wine and Watermelon Funk. This is ok. Jayb0 (752), Cherry Hill, New Jersey, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 25, 2009 While drinking this I was dubious, but the next day I was looking around to see if there was another one in the fridge, so I guess I liked it. Certainly built for outside on a hot day. I love watermelon and the combination of a refreeshing wheat beer with the cooling watermelon did make this enjoyable. scraff (1942), Baltimore, Maryland, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 25, 2009 Can - Light hazed gold, creamy white head. Soft bready wheat aromas ride a touch of earthed watermelon juice. Up front soft fruity melon notes balance on a touch of dry nutty earth and wheat. Light to medium bodied, soft carbonation, subtle watermelon finish. If ever this was a perfect summer picnic beer... roder60 (1020), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 21, 2009 Originally had this years ago at the brewpub in san fran and then had it and took notes a second time at the brew at the zoo in pittsburgh. Distributor told me they just started selling this in the western PA region. Poured a slightly hazy yellow color with a nice layer of frothy white head. Aroma is sweet with slight hints of watermellon. Flavor is light and crisp, pretty watery, but watermellon presence is definitely there. Tastes almost like liquid candy. Definitely different. jake65 (1698), Williston, North Dakota, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 21, 2009 Can: Hazy yellow pour with a finger of creamy white head. Aroma is light with wheat, sort of crisp (I guess), and some faint citrus. No clear watermelon smells for this guy. First sip is wheaty and light malts into a mellow mellon trailer... Different, but I can easily taste the watermelon. It makes the finish a little muddled, but its there.

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Aug 14, 2009 Can from capones. Poured a yellowish color with a nice white head. Aroma of stale watermelon. Taste is the same, stale watermelon. I did not enjoy this at all. Maybe it was old or something. carruthm (1125), Seattle, Washington, USA
