bottled, pour bright yellow with thick white head, aroma of citrus/floral hops without expected watermelon notes, great flavor of a nice crisp and well balanced pale ale without expected sweetness, then..just as you swallow a nice watermelon flavor in the background, great combo, hard to pull of but done very well

From the can. Very light yellow color. Small head, light fruit/watermelon at the end. Very saison like. Not a bad one for you to try.

On tap. Hazy yellow with only a tiny off-white head. Distinct watermelon in the nose with a light underlying dry tartness. Light in body with a heavy carbonation and again dry and lightly tart watermelon accents. Absolutely no malt feel. Dry finish. What have I done to deserve this...? 100709

Thanks to Dmac. Pours out a cloudy light golden color with a small white head. Aroma is of wheat malts, some yeast and a faint watermelon sweetness. A bit watery on the mouthfeel, slight watermelon flavor but it gets lost in the background among the typical wheat flavors. Good on a hot summer day like when I drank it, but I couldn’t see putting down more than 1 or 2.

2009 Can - Thanks BuckeyeBoy! - Pours lt opaque yellow with a medium white head...aroma is a bit musty, a bit doughy, with I guess some fruit as well...flavour was much nicer, yeasty with heavy carbonation and some nice natural tasting melon...very refreshing, probably would drink this one again, but didn’t think it was half bad...

On tap at Henry’s taproom in Portland on 6/26/09. Typical bread and yeasty notes, but sweet cotton candy and watermelon aroma, too. Very strange and complex beer. I admire the inginuity, but this is not a very drinkable beer.
