A classic American wheat beer using fresh watermelon. Straw-colored and refreshing with a kiss of watermelon aroma and flavor.

Looks like cloudy lemonade with a thin white head that fizzled out quick. Smells like a skunky watermelon rind with some typical wheat characteristics. I donít taste anything but watermelon rind. Itís slightly sweet and finishes dry and grassy. Thin body. If it was ice cold it might be refreshing on a hot summer day. That would make it as good as any other domestic pig swill. Boston Beer Works Watermelon was the best representation of a watermelon fruit brew. At about $9.00 a sixer, I would pass and buy some Coors light for less.

Can,bonused by Mike - thanks. Pours murky, nearly opaque, gold with short lived head. Aroma of watermelon (laffy taffy style) and odd funk that makes me think of overripe fruit on a hot day. Taste: lightly sweet, unpleasant funky something going on amidst the harsh toasted wheat. Mildly bitter finish, lingering unpleasant aftertaste. Body is thin, and this feels much like watermelon in that the aroma seems bigger than the melon-tinged taste. Overall: canít say this is a beer Iím likely to order, even on a hot day at a BBQ, even with no other choices. Then again, at a BBQ Iím likely to skip the watermelon, too, so this may not be surprising.

"iíll give them props for trying a different fruit, and that lends a certain uniquness to the beer, but itís a pretty thin, boring beer. I agree with the last reviewerís jolly rancher comparison. it wouldnít be a good wheat beer on itís own, but the level of uniqueness (and possible refreshment on a hot day) still intrigue me a bit. 8/12 revisited - better than I remember on the wheat side and more subtle on the fruit. Change in the beer or my palate? Raised a couple tenths."

On tap at the pub. Cloudy straw. Thin body. Light sweetness. Melon aroma. Simple but interesting.

12 oz can pour. Pours a super light yellow color with a sweet fruit aroma to it. Really light, easy drinking brew with some nice wheat touch and a watermelon flavor that is closer to bubblegum than a true watermelon fruit flavor. Not saying itís bad. Sweeter side this beer is. Flavorful for sure. Decent beer here.

Pours a pale yellow-orange with a thin white head which fades to very little lacing. Aroma is light and is of wheat bread, sweet malts, faint watermelon, and some light citrus. Taste is about the same as the aroma but has more water melon and light hop notes. Has a medium-light body with a semi creamy mouthfeel and a semi dry, mostly sweet, medium finish. Overall, a decent fruit beer that is pretty unique.

355 ml can from Premier Gourmet. Pours a lightly cloudy golden yellow with average white head. Aroma is artificial watermelon without much sweetness and wet straw. Flavour is gently sweet watermelon, wheat and straw. Mellower than average carbonation. Pleasant enough on a hot summer day but probably not one Iíd want to consume in significant quantities.

Pours a clear yellow, not much head to it. Aroma of straw, wheat, and watermelon. Taste followed the nose. Not much to this beer. It was light and refreshing and the watermelon wasnít overly strong. Light body, light carb, easy to drink.

Can into pint glass, cloudy light golden color with white head. Aroma of wheat malt and faint watermelon. Taste adds notes of more watermelon, sugar, grain, straw and faint fruity yeast. Light body, moderate carbonation, crisp with minimal fruity bitter finish. Nice enough light wheat ale with watermelon undertones.

This beer just has a horrible flavor. Compared to Watermelon Ales by Hooker and Beerworks, I donít know how 21st Amendment comes off calling this a Watermelon flavored beer. It lacks in watermelon flavor and itís hard to find a way describe what this beer really does taste like.
