A classic American wheat beer using fresh watermelon. Straw-colored and refreshing with a kiss of watermelon aroma and flavor.

With the initial pour, it appears rather thin, colored a clear pale honey-yellow. Thick wisps of a wheaty haze fall as it sits, eventually clouding the entire brew and darkening the color to a more uniform honey-gold – though the thickness remains 0n the thin side. The carbonation is quick and sparkling, erupting as it hits the glass and building a nice 3-finger thick head of thin, lacy foam that sticks around for quite a while afterwards, falling into a gossamer ring and sheer patches as I sip it. While the bubbles seem hardy enough, they refuse to stick to the side of the glass, leaving no trace it was ever there. * * * The aroma is very light, carrying hints of watermelon and fresh-cut rind, minimal hops, faint grainy notes and some wheat malt, but none are heavy enough to make a lasting impression until the beer is near room-temperature. * * * Hell or High Watermelon holds a light body, dry mouthfeel, and moderate semi-spicy carbonation. The clean, crisp authentic watermelon flavor is immediately present at the forefront, and fades into a lighter, sweet melon tang while touches of grainy wheat and malt follow through to the end. The profile of this beer overall is very light, but that doesn’t keep it from being the perfect thirst quencher, especially when it’s 115º outside. As much as I disagree with the current stereotypes of women and (fruit) beer, I think that this could be an awesome first step into the craft beer world for both men and women who are still trying to become interested and want to ease themselves in.

Can into pint glass, cloudy light golden color with white head. Aroma of wheat malt and faint watermelon. Taste adds notes of more watermelon, sugar, grain, straw and faint fruity yeast. Light body, moderate carbonation, crisp with minimal fruity bitter finish. Nice enough light wheat ale with watermelon undertones.

This beer just has a horrible flavor. Compared to Watermelon Ales by Hooker and Beerworks, I don’t know how 21st Amendment comes off calling this a Watermelon flavored beer. It lacks in watermelon flavor and it’s hard to find a way describe what this beer really does taste like.

Bottle to glass. Pour is hazy golden straw with a soapy white head. Aroma is straight up wheat beer with a tiny bit of watermelon. Taste is a decent wheat beer base with a slight hint of watermelon. Finish is clean and well carbonated. Nice beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Drank this in draft at eat drink sf, the beers is just strange but good. All the sugars of the watermelon are brewed out so your left with a light wheat beer with a fruity palate. Great session beer.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer & Beyond shop. Hazy yellow-golden with a small white head. Aroma of grains, watermelon and yeast. Sweetish, grainy with watermelon and spicy notes, low bitterness. Light-bodied, easy to drink.

A watermelon flavor I genuinely enjoy. Good for a can, not a pint. Amusing and a good bring-along for a summer picnic but not an extended sipping session. Interesting but not complex. Minimal bitterness with a hint of sour and an aftertaste of grown-up Jolly Rancher.

Carbonatation moyenne-faible, corps faible.

Pours hazy straw with puffy white head out of a 12oz can. Not much going on...basic American wheat beer. Very slight hint of watermelon in the nose, even less taste. Not sure I would even pick it out if I didn't know it was there. Meh.
