A classic American wheat beer using fresh watermelon. Straw-colored and refreshing with a kiss of watermelon aroma and flavor.

With the initial pour, it appears rather thin, colored a clear pale honey-yellow. Thick wisps of a wheaty haze fall as it sits, eventually clouding the entire brew and darkening the color to a more uniform honey-gold Ė though the thickness remains 0n the thin side. The carbonation is quick and sparkling, erupting as it hits the glass and building a nice 3-finger thick head of thin, lacy foam that sticks around for quite a while afterwards, falling into a gossamer ring and sheer patches as I sip it. While the bubbles seem hardy enough, they refuse to stick to the side of the glass, leaving no trace it was ever there. * * * The aroma is very light, carrying hints of watermelon and fresh-cut rind, minimal hops, faint grainy notes and some wheat malt, but none are heavy enough to make a lasting impression until the beer is near room-temperature. * * * Hell or High Watermelon holds a light body, dry mouthfeel, and moderate semi-spicy carbonation. The clean, crisp authentic watermelon flavor is immediately present at the forefront, and fades into a lighter, sweet melon tang while touches of grainy wheat and malt follow through to the end. The profile of this beer overall is very light, but that doesnít keep it from being the perfect thirst quencher, especially when itís 115ļ outside. As much as I disagree with the current stereotypes of women and (fruit) beer, I think that this could be an awesome first step into the craft beer world for both men and women who are still trying to become interested and want to ease themselves in.

Canned. Pours hazy wheat golden color. Aroma is a lot of tart citrus and watermelon. You know what this beer smells like. Exactly what you imagine. a watermelon wheat beer. Flavor is so much watermelon. Artificial kind of candy taste. Wheat and citrus notes. But again, you know exactly what to expect here. Do you like wheat beers? Do you like watermelon? Do you like them together? Thatís how you should gauge drinking this beer.

12 oz can. Cloudy yellow pour. Aroma of citrus, sugar and candied watermelon. Thin mouthfeel, sticky sweet finish. Good on a hot day only.

On tap at hopleaf. Lots of carbonation with small head. Some sugar on the nose but not too confrontational. So truth be told I donít usually like fruit beer. This is good, I would drink it again. Not too sweet with a nice balance. Great hot summer beer.

Cloudy, citrine yellow, some lace. Light, yeasty nose. Light body and flavor, low acicity, alcohol heat and carbonation make for a flat mouthfeel. Bitter, dry, low acidity. Yeasty flavor, nothing else. Stick to water! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A remarkably unimpressive beer. Not much of an aroma just a hint of grain, pours a cloudy pale caramel color without much head. Subdued taste just hints of grain and a barely perceptible taste of watermelon. Medium body with no real finish.

Whoa this one is bad. Like literally hard to drink, and Iím not one will just pour a beer out and give up. Weird, weird green tea almost matcha but not good matcha taste. Tastes like some weird sweet something. I canít even figure out what it is. Iíd proceed with caution.

Little aroma. Very light mouth feel. However it's as refreshing as can be. Hot days plus this = good times. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can. Pale yellow with some haze. Watermelon aroma and flavor. A little sweet with a touch of malt character. Interesting beer but not sure wheat and watermelon should coexist.

Pours hazy yellow with no head retention or lacing. Tastes extremely of watermelon. This is just ok, but would be ideal for a hot day. A great summer beer!

Light, clear yellow. Highly carbonated. A little sour. A hint of watermelon if you think about it.
