With the initial pour, it appears rather thin, colored a clear pale honey-yellow. Thick wisps of a wheaty haze fall as it sits, eventually clouding the entire brew and darkening the color to a more uniform honey-gold Ė though the thickness remains 0n the thin side. The carbonation is quick and sparkling, erupting as it hits the glass and building a nice 3-finger thick head of thin, lacy foam that sticks around for quite a while afterwards, falling into a gossamer ring and sheer patches as I sip it. While the bubbles seem hardy enough, they refuse to stick to the side of the glass, leaving no trace it was ever there. * * * The aroma is very light, carrying hints of watermelon and fresh-cut rind, minimal hops, faint grainy notes and some wheat malt, but none are heavy enough to make a lasting impression until the beer is near room-temperature. * * * Hell or High Watermelon holds a light body, dry mouthfeel, and moderate semi-spicy carbonation. The clean, crisp authentic watermelon flavor is immediately present at the forefront, and fades into a lighter, sweet melon tang while touches of grainy wheat and malt follow through to the end. The profile of this beer overall is very light, but that doesnít keep it from being the perfect thirst quencher, especially when itís 115ļ outside. As much as I disagree with the current stereotypes of women and (fruit) beer, I think that this could be an awesome first step into the craft beer world for both men and women who are still trying to become interested and want to ease themselves in.

Pours a clear effervescent light golden color with one finger yea that quickly dissipates. Aroma is primarily malt, bread, hint of watermelon. Taste is prominent watermelon, but only slightly sweet. Mildly better. Medium bodied.

Can. Pours crystal clear pale golden, small fizzy white head, dissipates soda-fast leaving a touch of lacing. Aroma is wheat, lemon, watermelons. Flavor is light sweet, lots of watermelon and some light bitterness as well; kinda metallic. Light body. Meh

Tried on draft in UFC in Woodside. Liked it so much, got a six pack. Tastes much better from draft. Much less flavor in the can. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can,bonused by Mike - thanks. Pours murky, nearly opaque, gold with short lived head. Aroma of watermelon (laffy taffy style) and odd funk that makes me think of overripe fruit on a hot day. Taste: lightly sweet, unpleasant funky something going on amidst the harsh toasted wheat. Mildly bitter finish, lingering unpleasant aftertaste. Body is thin, and this feels much like watermelon in that the aroma seems bigger than the melon-tinged taste. Overall: canít say this is a beer Iím likely to order, even on a hot day at a BBQ, even with no other choices. Then again, at a BBQ Iím likely to skip the watermelon, too, so this may not be surprising.

"iíll give them props for trying a different fruit, and that lends a certain uniquness to the beer, but itís a pretty thin, boring beer. I agree with the last reviewerís jolly rancher comparison. it wouldnít be a good wheat beer on itís own, but the level of uniqueness (and possible refreshment on a hot day) still intrigue me a bit. 8/12 revisited - better than I remember on the wheat side and more subtle on the fruit. Change in the beer or my palate? Raised a couple tenths."

On tap at the pub. Cloudy straw. Thin body. Light sweetness. Melon aroma. Simple but interesting.

12 oz can pour. Pours a super light yellow color with a sweet fruit aroma to it. Really light, easy drinking brew with some nice wheat touch and a watermelon flavor that is closer to bubblegum than a true watermelon fruit flavor. Not saying itís bad. Sweeter side this beer is. Flavorful for sure. Decent beer here.

Pours a pale yellow-orange with a thin white head which fades to very little lacing. Aroma is light and is of wheat bread, sweet malts, faint watermelon, and some light citrus. Taste is about the same as the aroma but has more water melon and light hop notes. Has a medium-light body with a semi creamy mouthfeel and a semi dry, mostly sweet, medium finish. Overall, a decent fruit beer that is pretty unique.
