Aug 16, 2008 Thanks to Golubj for the can! Hazy gold pour, off-white head, and a nice spotty lace. Leathery citrus type aroma. Thin bodied a slightly watery mouth-feel with a grainy flavor up front. Big watermelon finish with a touch of acid. I think this beer maybe slightly underated.

Aug 8, 2008 This yellow beer poured from a can with a fluffy white head and a slightly acidic aroma (oops, foam in my nose). I don’t think watermelon works very well in beer - it’s sour and a bit skunky. Otherwise, not a bad light beer.

Oct 20, 2008 Foggy gold/amber with a thick off white head. Aroma is very wheaty, light watermelon and that’s about it. Taste is a lightly tart watermelon, wheat, lightly watery, and a very light maltiness.

Sep 22, 2008 12oz can, no date from <i>Bottle Barn</i>. Hazy golden with a short-lived off-white head. Aroma consisted of watermelon <i>Jolly Rancher</i>s and that’s about it. Flavor was the same tart and lightly sweet hard candy, though maybe toned back a hair with some wheat. Minimal bitterness noted in the finish. Light prickly carbonation with a medium body. This had the possibility to be pretty good, but ended up artificial and mediocre at best.

May 12, 2009 SpringsLicker’s Fish Fry. Sample from a can thanks to Suttree. Hazy pinkish yellow with a thin white fuzz. Ugly watermelon jolly rancer aroma. Taste is simple watermelon juice, not very sweet though.

Oct 15, 2008 Pour is redish gold with a large fizzy white head. Aroma is sweet with not much else. Flavor is again not much else. I guess there is some watermelon in there but im not sure watermelon has enough of a flavor it self to be added to beer. Watermelon basicaly just tastes like water to begin with. This is not something i need again. Its like they dropped a watermelon jolly rancher in a beer and let it disolve.

Sep 11, 2009 Thin fizzy white head of fine bubbles. Distinct wheat aroma with lots of straw and some cereal grains. Light fruityness which I guess is the watermelon. Watermelon has a weak aroma anyway so I guess I shouldn’t expect much. Color is a clear medium gold. Crisp and clean palate with more wheat and grainy flavors. Little bit of fruityness again. Finishes dry and pasty. A decent summer brew.
