May 24, 2007 Sweet and light, thin bodied with obvious watermelon flavour. Quite refreshing but overall, too watery. The best thing about this beer is that it was nowhere near as bad as I had expected.

Oct 25, 2009 Serving: Draft.
Appearance: Light, cloudy gold color with small bits of flotsam in it. Small white head that fades fairly quickly.
Aroma: Light nose with notes of grain and watermelon.
Flavor: Watery watermelon rind, some grain, sweet malt. Rather unsavory stuff.
Palate: Medium carbonation with a light mouthfeel and short finish.
Overall: I had this at the GABF in 2008 and didn’t think it was nearly this bad. It was way light in the flavor department this time around.

Nov 4, 2009 I give this beer an A for effort and originality. The taste was very yeasty at first but did finish with a good watermelony taste. With each sip my palate adjusted to the beer and i ended up enjoying it by the end of the can. Defiantly worth a try if you find this.

May 17, 2009 Tasting at a beerfest [Disclaimer: This was tasted along with many, many other beers during a tasting at Julios. Some of the details are a little hazy]. Did not expect to like this one but it’s actually pretty good. The watermelon tasted real as opposed to some of the rasberry or cherry beers that taste like syrup had been added. Very drinkable and refreshing.

Feb 8, 2009 Light straw colour. Cloudy. Aroma is faint, slightly wheaty. Crisp, wheaty with faint watermelon. Okee-dokee. An Am Wheat with subtle fruit. Which is pretty good in terms of construction but still nothing I’d drink regularly.

Sep 2, 2009 Poured a cloudy straw yellow with an inch white head.
Nose is interesting, clean wheat yeast, faint watermelon.
Taste is pretty decent, good wheatty body, finishes with an unoffensive watermelon.

Sep 6, 2008 Updated: Oct 19, 2009Can. Poured a hazy straw in color with a small white head. Aroma of earthy wheat, straw, with very little watermelon. Tastes of wheat, straw with a bit of a watermelon jolly rancher sweetness in the finish. Pretty thin mouth feel and one dimensional.

Mar 10, 2009 Bottle, thanks to WeeHeavySD! Pours a hazy gold with a thick foamy white head that lingers. Aroma of malt, yeast, fruit juice, sugar, and a hint of something soapy. The watermelon flavor comes through better in the taste, very juicy, both sweet and a little tart, with malt and wheat. Lingering crisp juiciness that’s a bit watery. Weird.
