I wasn’t sure how well watermellon was going to work or show up in beer, but it was there in full force in this beer. It was an interesting taste that I thought was nice for a bit, but i don’t think i could put down a whole pint of this. Very thin and watery with the watermellon not strong up front in the flavor, but kinda hitting you later on. riversideAK (2808), Shoreline, Washington, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 30, 2008 Cloudy yellow pour with a thin head. The aroma is of tart/almost sour watermelons , lemon, and wheat . Flavors of watermelon, wheat, and lemon. Not too complex or really that interesting, but I can see this being thirst quenching or nice on a hot day I guess. DuffMan (2786), the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 6, 2009 Can. Pours a hazy dark gold with a thick white head. Very toasty, biscuity cereal aroma with a frsh edge suggestive of melon. The palate carries more biscuity malt, with some wheaty notes and distinct but subtle watermelon in the finish. Not especially yeasty or wheaty to me, more biscuity and even toasty, but subtle on the fruit which keeps things intriguing. Finish is crisp and dry. Very different, in a good way. Balanced, with a clean finish. Watermelon flavor was really mild but it had a really nice watermelon aroma. Surprisingly enjoyable, and it would make a great summer thirst quencher. maniac (2774), Richmond, Virginia, USA

Poured yellow in color with a small, white head that disappeared immediately. Cloudy. Slightly sparkling. Full of tiny particles throughout. Flavor is light to medium sweet. Tastes of wheat, light watermelon, and some artificial sweetener. Light to medium body. Slightly sticky texture. Average carbonation. Wheat and slight watermelon finish. Not a good beer. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 29, 2009 Cloudy, slightly pinkish yellow, no head. Aroma is more wheaty than watermelon. Flavor is a little more watermelon forward, with a familiar wheat flavor backing it up. Ever so slightly bitter finish. Thanks to robertjm for this one! Nuffield (2749), Roseville, Minnesota, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jun 25, 2007 Served with watermelon in the glass and that was the end of the watermelon. Low aroma, low flavor. A very subdued beer. Some aggressive swishing in my mouth help me to pick up a tiny salty/sour quality, but I couldn’t get much else, even with time. (on tap at brewpub)
