Sampled at the 2012 Lansdale Beer Fest. Really glad I never purchased this one off the store shelf. Thin beer laced with syrupy watermelon notes. Blech.

Smells heavily of watermelon with a hint of wheat beer. Pours hazy blonde with minimal white head. Taste is pretty bland, with a non overpowering watermelon finish.

Pours thin straw yellow with lazy carbonation and dissipating white head. Aroma- fruity lager, not very apparent smell, except for a bit of watermelon candy. Taste is lager, water, sour watermelon candy. Minimal pils-y aftertaste.

can. pours medium pale gold with some haze. this one definitely has watermelon aromas but really aan aroma of fake candy watermelon and not that of fresh fruit. flavors of grainy malts, candy and some sweet malts. really not bad but not a thing special about it. I would pass on it.

Pours very clear with a nice head, but not much aroma. The watermelon stands out, but not a lot backing it up behind it. It’s a decent session beer, but the watermelon would get old early in the session. Decent for what they are trying to accomplish, I’m not a big watermelon fan so I think that tainted my view.

Hell or High Watermelon pours a slightly hazy light golden with virtually no head to speak of. Nose is light crisp hops with a faint fruit aroma, likely melon. Taste is an interesting blend of dry and tart fruit essence with more familiar wheat beer elements. It has an aspect that reminds me a little of cucumber as it is used in a california roll. Body is lightly fizzy. This beer finishes cleanly with just a hint of wheat malty, earthy aspect. very different. Not at all what I expected. quite refreshing.

Both flavors are represented very well, watermelon and wheat, making this an extremely tasty and enjoyable beer.

Draft at lucky lab. Pours hazy yellow with minimal head. The aroma is light watermelon and light lemon. The taste is light watermelon and wheat.

On draft. Pours a clear pale straw color with a half finger of white head. Aroma of light wheat and straw, but no hint of watermelon. The watermelon is much more present in the taste though, along with wheat, and some earthy yeast.

12 oz. can. Lager glass shows a hazy gold with lasting white head. Nose is sour wheat and light melon. Flavor was much better than I would have guessed. This beer is exactly what it says on the can, and I can respect that. The flavor is natural melon with a hay and wheat flavor. This brew is simple, light, and refreshing. The flavor is mild but you really could drink a 6 pack of this no problem at all. I think for the price and drinkability it’s a bit under rated. Really easy to knock back on a warm summer day.

12’oz can - pours sickly cloudy piss yellow with medium white head. Funky soap aromas with minimal fruit. Not a lot going on. Watermelon at the finish? Yeah.
