A classic American wheat beer using fresh watermelon. Straw-colored and refreshing with a kiss of watermelon aroma and flavor.

Pours a pale yellow color with a thick foamy white head. Wheat smell with hints of watermelon. Flavor is wheat and watermelon as well. Sweet, smooth, light and refreshing but not particularly delicious though it is better than most canned fruit beers.

July 3, 2015 - on tap at 3 corners. Cloudy yellow pour with some head and lacing. Aroma was grainy and a bubble gummy fruity. Taste was mostly grainy, but had melon in the finish.

Light straw colored body. Mild watermelon and lemon aroma and taste. Light and dry finish. Great for a warm summer day.

12 oz. can, from Timmy. Nose is pine, watermelon, and hay. Lightly sweet flavor, and a pretty significant bitterness. Light body, sharp and harsh feel, and astringent. This is a reasonably tasty, light beer.

From the can marked enjoy by 8/31/2015. Hazy pale yellow pour under a tremendous white fizzy head that erupts and fades. The watermelon notes are robust on first whiff and the wheat aspect is played down. Light body. The sweet juiciness of watermelon abounds in the taste with a mildly bitter ending. It is what it is.

Can. Hazy pale straw yellow, smallish white head. Nose is piss and light fruit. Mouth is medium bodied, mild malt sweetness, watermelon and some off vegetal things going on. Luckily this was part of a ’build a six’ from Binny’s ... I couldn’t see drinking another one of these. Fucking awful.

Pours a hazy yellow color with a foamy white head. Notes of water melon candy, earth, wheat grains, and some earthy hops.

Can from the infamous GCG Hazy murky straw color with a frothy tightly bubbled white head. Earthy wheat with hints of watermelon rind. The flavor feels more like cantaloupe with a bready spicy almost rancid light candied flavor to it. I find this completely bland and can’t see a reason to ever put this to my lips again.

Gold pour from a can with a foamy white head. Jolly rancher water melon, wheat, banana, coriander. Lightly bitter and sweet.

On tap at John’s Restaurant & Tavern in Winfield, IL., and shaker served showing a slightly hazed, golden color, with a frothy layer of white head foam that possessed some persistence, and clingy strands of lacing. The aroma was a non-offensive but uneventful nose of light dankness, ripe fruit, soft grain, and a hint of sweetness. The taste, on the other hand, was more expressive, with fruitiness as watermelon rind, and some passion fruit? The body was light+, with helpfully lively carbonation. Interesting & fairly tasty summer faire.
