Our seasonal offering. This deep cooper colored ale has rich malt flavor with our secret holiday spices. Come on in and enjoy the holiday spirit.

On tap at the brewpub. Dark orange/light brown, very little bubbly head. Some cinnamon and nutmeg in aroma. Mouthfeel is very watery. Unbalanced malt and spice taste - way too much cinnamon. I didnít really like this at all. Given the fact that this brewpub only had 3 beers on tap (I didnít try the blonde), the service wasnít very good, and the 2nd beer at the food tuned my stomach, it is safe to say this was my least favourite of all the brewpubs I visited on my trip to San Francisco.

Almost perfect spice balance. not over the top as so many of this style are. Nutmeg allspice and cinamon touches with nice robust malt body and a touch of vanilla.

I was expecting something close to Anchor Christmas Ale for some reason, and this came nowhere near my expectations. Not much spice to speak of, and really too thin for the style. Just not much exciting here.

Draft. Dark amber-mohogony color with a nice off-white head. Allspice, cinnimin, and ginger in the aroma and flavor. Malt backing. People are right in itís almost a combination of a pumpkin pie and an apple pie. Slightly light body.

Quite simply this beer smelled and tasted like spiced apple pie.Seemed like a reformulated Anchor steam X-mass ale.Very good.

clove and nutmeg aroma, a rich ruby-brown color with a nice fat tan head, the spice over powered the malts and made this a little hard to drink, tasted like a pumpkin ale which i do not like

UPDATED: DEC 29, 2006 Rating #1 Tap (7 4 8 4 17) Dark hazy amber color. Cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg in the aroma. Nice spice and lots of malts. The best of the lot. Rating #2 Tap of the 2006 vintage (8 3 7 3 15). A brown color with a light tan head. A nice aroma of cinnamon and gingerbread that carries over lightly in the flavor. Rather light in body.
