3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured a hazy gold, white significant head with mild lacing. Aromas of malty hops, citrus, tropical fruit with spicy undertones. Flavors of bitter hops and sweet malts, there are subtle pine notes and citrus. Finish; not very balanced, the alcohol is subtle, slightly fizzy at the beginning...itís a good beer! Iím can challenged, but know it can be handy in select applications. Iím also not into four packs unless it is epic beer. With that being said, I would not make a habit of buying it!!!

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
[355ml can, Tasty Beverage Company, Asheville] Pours a totally opaque golden orange colour, with a decent half-inch head that fades to a thin lacing with a central island of bubbles. On the nose, peachy stone fruit from the hops. Tastewise, thereís a big lick of pineapple at first, before alcohol warmth and a chewy sweetness - this is probably a fairly old can and therefore verging into barley wine territory, the hops have faded somewhat. But itís not the worse for it at all

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
[Can (12oz)] Pours a clear gold with an average size long-lasting frothy white head. Minimal lacing. Sweet and hoppy aroma along with wood, honey, some alcohol, a good amount of fruit and a light vegetal note. Flavour is also sweet and hoppy along with fruit, alcohol and bready malt. Medium bodied. Not as good as expected but pretty good.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Purchased at Bottles and Cans in Chicago, IL; enjoyed at home after a somewhat rough work Friday, happy thatís done for the week! This is a pretty damn good one here. Appearance is a lightly cloudy gold with a prominent and billowy white head. Aroma of oak, caramel malt, smells hoppy. Taste is nice, definitely potent, very much barley-wine esque. Not as malty as a barley wine though. Done well, good stuff.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Can, pours a clear straw color and topped with a thick finger of white head. Intense sheet lacing. Sweet scents of citrus and tropical fruit, some pine. Sweet taste, lightly bitter. Syrupy and rich. The hop balance is spot-on, this is really enjoyable.
