4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a nice light amber with a nice head. The only way I can describe it is as a hop explosion in your mouth. The first taste is actually alcohol, quickly followed by a multitude of hop flavors. Pine, citrus, it's all in there.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
can @ House of 1000 Beers / New Kensington PA --- $5.25 for this can - I expect Nirvana. Aroma of herbal and citruas hops + light malt. Clear medium / light amber color, frothy white head that stays at three-fingers, globs and bands of lace. Taste is a perfect half and half between caramel malt and an assortment of hops, primarily citrus. Medium carbonation completes the deal. It seems like a strong malty brew, but then it switches to a hoppy brew - each swallow seems to contradict the other,...and yes,... the alcohol is mysteriously hidden, so care must be given. Complex, balanced, not heavy at all, a superb brew.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 10/20
Impressive brew. No distinctive aroma that i could catch. Deep amber orange...almost what I would call a pumpkin color. Tall white head laces nicely. Smooth flavor with enough sweetness to conceal any bitter with just a hint of dryness at the end.

On tap. Pours amber with fluffy white head. Aroma is of citrusy hops, tropical fruit and caramel malt. Body is full and slightly crisp. Enormous amount of citrusy hops is balanced on the palate with caramel malt and tropical fruit. Finish is long, dry, and very hoppy. Excellent brew.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Floral, citrus, caramel, oak and vanilla aromas on the nose. More of the same as it goes down, giving way to the warming alcohol, pine, tobacco and bitterness. Enjoyable.

[355ml can, Tasty Beverage Company, Asheville] Pours a totally opaque golden orange colour, with a decent half-inch head that fades to a thin lacing with a central island of bubbles. On the nose, peachy stone fruit from the hops. Tastewise, there’s a big lick of pineapple at first, before alcohol warmth and a chewy sweetness - this is probably a fairly old can and therefore verging into barley wine territory, the hops have faded somewhat. But it’s not the worse for it at all
