COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The name is a tribute to the hop shortage a few years ago. A imperial IPA aged on oak using Columbus, Centennial and cascades as the bittering hops and dry hopping with Simcoe, Ahtanum, Amarillo, and Cascades.

Ahhhhh! What crisis! A nice aroma as it poured a light yellow somewhat hazy nicely carbonated beer. Hop flowers pop in your mouth as you taste the beer. Bittering on the back side gives you an excellent rush. Mouth feel is great, very full. Nice lacy head lasts and lasts!

Luminescent bright golden, enticing aroma of pine, wood, lemon. Bitter, smooth, bright hoppy flavors. This is good!

9/25/2014. 12 oz. can. Amber color with a thick white head. Big, piney aromas with tropical fruit, caramel and spices. Bitter hops all the way, dried spices, resins. Long bitter finish.

4 week old can practically dripping with tropical fruits and pine. Light in color, not in character. Really enjoyed this dank offering - probably the best I’ve had from 21st ammendment. Only monks blood is even close."

Where and how: can 355 ml , GG
Aroma wonderfully rounded, juicy hop feel. Mild sweetness, gentle alcohol dryness. Good malt backing. Late feel of vanilla..
Appearance :
Top: medium, fizzy, off-white top. Sparse lace.
Base: golden.
Palate : medium plus bodied.
Taste: pineapple, sweet sugars on lips. Mid semi-dry. Plenty of citrus paired with drying alcohol.
Other notes very nice, easy going considering size.

You won’t be able to tell the high ABV. Nice but not overpowering aroma leads to a sharp, biting flavor that is pure DIPA. Clear golden body with nice creamy head, tons of clumpy lacing. All around winner

Fruity aroma greets the nose, then some hops, malt, and more hops. Hops lingers for a minute, then it’s time for more.
