COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Deep, ruby color with velvety smooth malt and bing cherry flavors and aroma. Fermented at a low temperature giving it a clean malt aroma with very little fruity esters. Traditional Scotch-Style wee-heavy, brewed using a modified water profile, English malts and aged hops, giving it a rich, malty, sweet taste and restrained bitterness. Slainte!

Draft at brewpub: reddish brown color. Aroma is caramel, earth, only a touch of smoke if any. Somewhat fruity. Medium bodied, quite sweet. Decently made, but nothing made it stand out to me.

Draft. Dark mahogony beer with a thin off-white head. Rich toffee and sweet malt aroma. Rich toffee flavor with lots of caramel and malt. Some hop presence, and just a bit of fruitiness. Full bodied with a nice velvety mouthfeel.
