A brown ale with orange hues and a thin moka head. A pleasant aroma of sugar cane, with vinous notes, and dark fruits. In mouth, a sweet caramel malt with oily mouthfeel, fusel alcohol, a bit of nuttyness, and dark fruits. Nice! 9.3% alcohol this time. On tap at brewpub, Jan. 17 2009.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 bb (4888) - Alamo, California, USA - APR 25, 2008
Draft. Ruby beer with a nice dark-cream colored head. Nice caramel aroma. Caramel flavor with plum and berry. Medium bodied. Lingering caramel/toffee, berry, and plum. A bit too fruity for me.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20 Braudog (4604) - Hampton, Virginia, USA - APR 14, 2008
Draft at the brewpub. Midnight crimson color with little to no head. Richly malted aroma. Big, thick beer. Full of body with a light alcoholic flammability. Big and rich (not like the country band). (#3412, 4/11/2008)
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Ramenen (463) - San Salvador, EL SALVADOR - APR 9, 2008
Drank it on tap at the brewery. Dark amber color. Sweet rum like aroma. Taste is sweet, malty, caramel, an ale with a punch. Heart warming, really nice.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Delirium (589) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - APR 8, 2008
Draught at the brewpub. Pours dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is mildly sweet roast malt, with chocolate, caramel, and a bit of earthy hops. Flavor is likewise. A bit odd for a scotch ale---the richness is rather subdued, there’s almost no smokiness, and there are more hops than expected. However, it’s quite good.
